Just for the record I'd like to say if I were in a country that only had access to something I'd share it with everybody quicksmart.

Correct spelling goes a long way. But that aside...

I'd like to see these previews, even if they're just a random collection of clips from the old series or something... it's, well, something.

Far too excited, yes I am.

They try to teach you how to use the English language correctly in schools so that when you escape into society you are able to communicate with other people and actually have them understand you. And vice versa. That's all he was saying.

Why do we really need to see the ads anyway? There's only a few weeks until the shows starts. Patience, my friends! Ads just lead to disappointment. A blank slate leads to excitement and wonder!

You do realize that I have know way of knowing when the commercial will be on again and I'm not going to sit and watch CC for the next 134 hours just to look for it.

Aww. It's okay, one day you'll understand humour, how how to gain a sense of it. Then everything will fall into place. First it'll sting a little, but after a while, oho-boy, you wonder how you ever did without it. wink

A video which was also available on Hulu and other streaming sites, along with the whole episode for context. I'm sure that these promos are online somewhere. And they aren't really anything. Settle down there, young padawan.

If it was pointless and should be dropped, why did you even reply to her? And you look like you're 8 because you don't know how to use the shift key; don't know the difference between "you're", "your", and "ur"; and utilized the brilliantly eloquent and non-confrontational comeback of calling her "beyond retarded". If you expect people to whip out a video camera to tape promos for you, or if you merely just want to have your opinions understood by others, correctly using the English language aides a whole lot. There are many posters whose first language is not English, so be considerate to them so they can actually read what you're writing.

The promos that are played as part of The Daily Show and Colbert Report online are both now being shown on television on Comedy Central.

Plus, bad English actually hurts to read. At least for me. Having to decipher my own language is not something I want to do. Nor do I think other people on this board would want to do that either.

I bet there is a whole load of mistakes in the above :\

Edit: found one!

I was a C student by the end of my high school career. But had I not been visiting internet forums for at least 5 years prior, I wouldn't have gone through and eradicated that awkward text speak phase, and could have perhaps even flailed engrish complotely!

So anyway, while you guys were fighting and squabbling like little children Uncle Freako here waited for Tim from the Madhouse's work Lunchbreak which in my time was 2am in the effing morning. And I was able to instruct him to take key screen shots from the trailers.

I give too much.

Today's CC Insider update:

Linky-link

I'm torn: "Future-Roma" is kind of a lame play on words, but seeing the crew visit it could be pretty interesting.

Saw another promo on Comedy Central a few minutes ago. The only real bit of dialogue comes from Amy, as she apparently tries to console Hermes, Bender, and Fry: "I guess it's time to indulge in a little end-of-the-world debauchery: who's up for an orgy?" A lot of the clips seem to come from "In-A-Gadda-Da Leela"--the crew is clad in their freaky Jesus robes.

Hmmm, the "Future-Roma" in an arc and the ship flying at that angle lead me to believe they might have modified the opening specifically for The Duh-Vinci Code, similarly too (but more extreme than) how they created the different versions of the Futurama theme for certain episodes.

You know what wouldn't take a lot of effort? getting a free screen video capture type program (such as hypercam) and then recording the ads that are before said shows and then putting that video on youtube.

Just sayin'

Although I do thank Freako for the generous donation of his time to get those screenshots taken.

No disrespect intended, but Freako's time amounted to whining at me for about 3 minutes about his lost sleep.  I spent my lunch hour grabbing those things.

A lot of it.  Firefox wedged on me twice, and it was tricky trying to get some of those shots with those hands waving around in front.  I tried like 10 times to get the Fry and Leela one and never did succeed.

I can get it to pause on where you can see Frys face and also to where you can see Fry and Leela are only shaking hands...I have no idea how to get a picture though. It's at 8 seconds if that help at all.
