Poor Kiff, so much pink(and other similiar purple color tones). If I was with a girl who liked pink that much, I think I would vomit. None the less I can not wait for the new season.

Pink is a colour best used in moderation, especially with black...

I'd guess it's Amy's place as well, but that picture of Zapp is interesting...

Amy's never been revulsed by Zapp, right? She seems to have little ill will towards him, and maybe even kind of likes him. Not that all of us would be quick to claim BWaBB as canon, but she did even sleep with him, so maybe the picture is a kind of inside joke on her part.

I never really believed the Amy/Bender thing to mean a serious relationship. Knowing Bender he's probably just using her for his own end in some way. Whether she is just going along with it or not is the question.

I'd assume that if they are back together then they are still married fonfon ruboked, in which case they'd live together whenever Kif isn't offworld. The picture of Zapp is therefore Kif's because he's Kif's best (only?) friend - he was the best man at rubok. The far left most likely has pictures of Amy's close friends. Betsey is just helping fill out Kif's side.

the majority of these updates from cc have been pretty bad

I sincerely hope that calling Dan Brown "unparalled genius" was either sarcasm or joke. It doesn´t work on any level anyway.
Sorry for off-topic post.

The Latest one. Of Countdown to Futurama

Here (where you can zoom in to see in better detail and better detail in general)

Quoting

Quote
Many parents attempt to craft future geniuses, introducing infants to Tolstoy or Mozart, ignoring the fact that babies learn to crawl before they can walk. Hey, crazy parents, start your newborn off with something simpler, like Michael Crichton or Yo Yo Ma. Speaking of geniuses, an upcoming episode of Futurama called The Duh-Vinci Code is based on the work of an unparalleled genius; Dan Brown. For those unlearned among you, Brown is famous for writing a book about the historical figure Leonardo DaVinci Code. Here's a prop design of a mysterious invention featured in the episode.

Some sort of invention I guess. It looks like a swiss army knife, or a steam boiler, or even some kind of industrial revolution machine with something that looks sorta like a ray gun sticking out of it. What's with the paper or is money on the right side of the picture and the hands?

And below. Which doesn't look very neat.

Just FYI, dudes:

Comedy Central seems to have just started running ads for the Futurama premiere online (I'm not sure about on-air, but it seems the ads are running before every "Daily Show" episode on that show's website).  It includes a funny bit involving Zapp, and a few other little clips that appear to be from the first couple episodes ("shippers" may be happy to know that Fry and Leela are holding hands in one shot, though it's hard to see behind Bender dancing).  Check it out.  Here's a link to the latest "Daily Show" so you can check it out.

EDIT: Uh, speaking of, there appears to be a totally DIFFERENT ad before episodes of "The Colbert Report" on THAT show's website.  I can't watch it with sound at the moment, but the footage is definitely different.  So uh, check that out too.  Yeah.  Here's a link to it also:

We’re terribly sorry, but full episodes of The Daily Show with Jon Stewart are not available.

But please don’t send any Red coats in retaliation at this time, as you CAN get your headlines at Channel 4.

They're dead. Completely dead. All my worries are completely dead! These ads left me with nothing but happiness (and completely blow away anything Insider showed us). Oh man, good jokes, seemingly F/L progression, interesting plot points (Leela is Sleeping Beauty for some reason, Zapp and her make it back to the others in some sort of Wonder Woman ship). Suck it Foreigners! Keep refreshing Youtube, I'll keep watching the ads NOW.

P.S. It's a good thing the voice actors got their dues. No one could have made Fry sound as happy at the return of his friends like Billy West did and that stands for the talent of all the other actors too and how well they all encapsulate their characters.

Doesn't it seem like us not being able to watch the ads because we're not in the right country kinda defeats the purpose of the Internet?

That works both ways, I get to watch 40+min highlights of the 1982 Monaco Grand Prix with commentary by Murray Walker and James Hunt, with musical accompaniment by Fleetwood Mac and you don't! So there! God Save the Queen, Rule Britannia and boo sucks to Johnny Foreigner!

If I was remotely computer savvy, I'd throw you foreigners a bone--but alas, I'm not, so I shan't.

At any rate, those promos don't show us anything all that earth-shattering. Fry and Leela definitely look like they're on a date in that Daily Show promo (and that Bender-dancing thing was from "Rebirth", if I recall correctly, so that's kind of promising), and there appears to be an awful lot of Zapp Brannigan. I'm guessing those clips all came from the first four or so episodes--in other words, the ones CC Insider's already given us glimpses of.

Man oh man, June 24th cannot get here quickly enough.

It's because the Futurama clips aren't generated ads. They're literally part of the Daily Show and Colbert Report videos. If you wait after the ads end then you'll see the promo clips.

Yeah neither of the ads are THAT amazing really, just interesting and worth calling attention to (since most of it appears to be footage that hasn't been seen before, and the first I've seen in completed form).  For those that can't see it, the first (Daily Show) ad has this gag:

Zapp: We're defenseless, like fish in a barrel!

Nixon: Options?

Zapp (now in a barrel): My instinct is to hide in this barrel, like the wily fish.

Otherwise there's a few random clips shown while the announcer speaks: Bender disco dances in front of Leela and Fry (who appear to be holding hands at a restaurant table); the crew watches as Leela and Zapp (in space suits) "reform" in a small ship via Farnsworth's contraption (electricity surrounds the ship and he's holding a remote of some kind); Bender breathes fire over a "sleeping beauty" Leela while the rest stand around.

The Colbert one has the following (and note it seems to have been replaced by a Tosh.0 ad on the most recent ep):

Zapp (in suit, but not the same one as the other clips/images I don't think): Computer! Captain's musk!

(A robot arm comes down holding a fragrance-like bottle, but doesn't do anything.  Kif sighs and squeezes it to spray Zapp with the musk.)

Random clips: Professor going crazy and making a silly face?  He's turning his head back and forth and has his hands raised near it; Bender, in a robe, hooks a "jack" (from a cord coming from behind his door) into some device, possibly a robot (it has an antennae), pulling it out again, and giggling; the crew, with some kind of dead(?) monster behind them them, standing in what appears to be the "smello-scope" room, with Fry saying "we're back, everyone!"

CC just played a commercial for the new episodes. One clip showed Amy covered in some sort of pink goo which I'm guessing has to do with the rebirthing thing. The one that confused me was a clip of Leela fighting herself. Not sure what episode that would be from.

Damn it, I need to tune into Comedy Central more often, lest I miss all these commercials. Is it June 24th yet?

Going out on a limb here: Might that Leela-fighting-herself thing be from "Rebirth"? Remember that creepy Terminator-esque drawing CC Insider posted a few weeks ago?
