Freako: Yeah, I'm with ya. I palmed my freaking face off when I read that.
As far as that storyboard goes: I wonder if the discarded doomsday devices will have something to do with the "killer" part of "Attack of the Killer App." And the "attack" part, too, I suppose.

I suppose it could be, but considering the level of detail in the panels I'd think they'd have made it clearer if it were indeed Fry (or mentioned him in the action notes instead of just "Incidentals").
This is a pretty weak idea, but perhaps if Mom has taken over the various Internet technologies, she orders that all other "devices" should be thrown away to avoid any competition, and the Professor uses the opportunity to dispose of those unstable things as well.

As far as we know: 12 episodes this summer, with an Xmas episode in December and the other 13 next summer.
We don't know the latter part, we are just assuming.

I think we'll probably get some clips, like, a week before the premiere, to build interest. I do agree that last week's posts were pretty dumb, though.

Maybe they switched the guy who makes the updates, because now they're starting to sound coherent.
This: is coherent? Last week we showed you a sketch of the dismantled Planet Express. Well, today you get to see the sketch all colored in. Unless you're color-blind, I guess, in which case this is sort of like a rerun. Sorry for the rerun, all you color-blind Futurama fanatics, or as you call yourselves, Parrotheads.

Looks to me like they're reconstructing the ship, but I suppose it could go either way. I'm curious as to what exactly happened to the ship to necessitate the rebuild. What episode is this from, the fourth?

Anyway, are the little guys in orange taking the ship apart or putting it back together? The crew seem to be smiling, so maybe the latter.
I dunno, it looks to me like they're in some kind of junkyard, which might mean they're taking it apart.
It's either they're deconstructing it or reconstructing it, which could make this a parody of the latest Star Trek film. I want to say reconstructing given there are workers working at places without panels anymore. However, deconstruction is funnier. However however, reconstruction following total annihilation is even funnier.
Are they changing the timeline so that the Planet Express ship was built at Area 51?

This tableau sort of reminds me of commercials being beamed into people's dreams in "A Fishful of Dollars." And, um, that's all I've got.

Leela’s parents are second-class, mutant citizens who live underground in the sewers. The members of Devo have mutated over the years, and Mark Mothersbaugh helps out in their campaign for equality. Well, there goes the plot to my second comic. Minus the Devo bit. Craig Ferguson has the most remarkable guest role of the year: He is playing a talking part of Leela’s body. I bet its underneath her foot. The heads of Matt Groening and David X. Cohen will appear on a panel of writers for the new show that Matt Groening has created in the Year 3010. Only 1,000 years we have to wait until a new Matt G show!

On Craig Ferguson, if I remember correctly, Maurice LaMarche said that he was guest starring on In-A-Gadda-Da-Leela. I’m proud to announce that Al Gore will be rejoining us in our environmental-themed holiday episode [airing next season]. He will help explain the future versions of Christmas, Robanukah, and Kwanza, along with Coolio, a natural pairing. I'm guessing that this is this year's holiday episode, or 6ACV13. The one that's not quite this season but not quite next season. I wonder if Mark Hamill will return as well... Nice to hear more about the 100th episode finally. Interesting to hear that Devo is involved with it. And I think the most interesting new character (other than Craig Ferguson) is Patton Oswalt's Unattractive Giant Monster. That sounds like it could be a reoccuring background character!

Thought about today's CCI pic:
*Anybody else think that Mom's plan is to mind-control everybody with I-Phone implants (like in the Doctor Who two-parter Rise of the Cyber-Men/Age of Steel)?
Thoughts/Speculation about everything in the DXC interview:
*Leela's brain or mind is inside the Leela-bot and Fry continues to pursue a relationship with her knowing that she might not return to being human
*When were F/L on? What, the five minutes before the ship crashed? Hell, they can't even be off if they were never really on. I hope I don't get disappointed by what occurs. If DXC thinks that F/L together would put the show in a rut, I'd like him to know that keeping it at a will they/won't they level is just as much of a rut. Advance it or kill it- make a choice for all our sakes
*Those embarrassing videos of Leela probably won't be sexual (I don't think Fry would be that much of a dick to her). It's probably something like her shaving her armpits or tripping.
*Yo Freako, I think David finally killed the idea that so many of us had that Fry wanted to use the Professor's time machine to speed into a date with Leela. Aside from his suggestion that Square One is in effect, there is also the Professor and Fry only meaning to go 1 minute into the future which is accidentally changed to 1000 years (Fry shouldn't be too shocked).
*1000 years on the Time Machine probably means we won't be seeing the future of any of the crew members except Bender.
*I'm disappointed to hear Devo seems to be a major part of 612. I don't like it when celebrities as themselves are a major part of episodes. Play original characters, not ego-bating cameos.
*Third on one of Leela's feet being the late-night host's vessel. I'm not sure how I'll feel about it though. I guess that Ear, Ear, Ear, Nose, and Throat Doctor must have gotten her degree from an online course.
*Katee Sackhoff's character probably has an attraction to Zoidberg
*Of course, Zoidberg is a one-human Lobster. Zoidberg/The Professor shippers unite! Eh, I'm the only one?
P.S. Is it just me, or does this new season seem like it's going to be quirky as hell?

Indeed it does; that Fry "Revolutionary War adventure" episode cinches it for me (for the record, though, I think it sounds kind of awesome). Angry shipper moment: What the hell, DXC? Unless this on-again, off-again business means we'll get to see some semblance of "on", I'm kind of pissed.
