It's not really news, but Eric Rogers just invited Edgar Wright to write an episode of the show via Twitter.
I fear that Edgar will see a private account and not realise that it's a legit offer from someone on the show... but still. If that happened, I would wet myself with excitement. Especially if he directed it too.
You'd think if Eric Rogers was serious, he would also use another channel than Twitter, right?

Maybe they have and they just haven't announced it yet. Or maybe CC said, 'okay, we'll buy another season, BUT ONLY IF EDGAR WRIGHT WRITES AN EPISODE, YA HEAR ME?!'.

This. But yeah, I imagine he's working on the assumption that they're getting renewed because they probably are. And as unlikely as it is that anything will come from this, a man can dream. A man can dream.

Matt Groening seems to have been drawn somewhat different-y since the pilot episode.

Trust me, it's quite funny. Without giving the clip away, it makes references to the cancellation, FOX, and the Simpsons. Can't wait two days!!!

Meta Humor rules all.
Amen to that!!! The beginning of BBS is brilliant, and this looks to be as well.

So, it's still the same... if they made the same joke about eye-phones being installed in the eye in a movie and then in 2 episodes again you'd be complaining too.
I don't mind meta humour at all, but jeez, not the same again and again.

My assumption is this: The first act will take place at the Comic-Con event; some meta-jokes will be thrown about and then we get onto the real story!

Oh my. So am I supposed to conclude from that little bit of orangeness that the crazy drippy plunger monster is Fry in the last pic? Snap!

Haven't watched that YouTube clip yet--hopefully I'll get to it tomorrow--but I like the fact that the writers are finally dealing with the fact that Leela is living on the surface illegally. It had never occurred to me that no one, save the PE crew, knows that Leela is a mutant--and that, if she was discovered, there would be some serious problems. Guess I haven't read enough fanfic or something. Anyway, I can't wait for the finale. It sounds like an epic, highly sci-fi tale, and I'm always up for one of those.
