Can't wait for "The Late Philip J. Fry", and I'm interested in "The Duh-Vinci Code", because it sounds like a sort of caper-y thing, something that Futurama has never really attempted. Oh, and any flashbacks involving Fry's life in the twentieth century are fine by me. More than fine, in fact.

The Late Philip J. Fry is by far the episode I'm most looking forwards to from this season. I really can't wait. I'm bored so here's a ranked list of this run in order of how much I'm looking forwards to them: 11.The Duh-Vinci Code 10.Attack of the Killer App 9.Lrrreconcilable Ndndifferences 8.Proposition Infinity 7.A Clockwork Origin 6.the holiday special 5.Lethal Inspection 4.That Darn Katz! 3.The Prisoner of Benda 2.The Mutants Are Revolting 1.The Late Philip J. Fry
Most of the episodes I don't really like the sound of are happening early on which is good because it means they'll be out of the way first, leaving only stuff for me to get really excited about.
Why are Attack of the Killer App so low? It sounds by far as one of the most Futurama-y episodes of the new season we know much about so far!

That's what I was thinking, it sounds more promising than Lrrreconcilable Ndndifferences
How can you not be excited for a Lrr episode? He's the greatest!...

He help up for Spanish Fry pretty well as the main supporting character. It's his first main episode, I have a good feeling. I also have a bad feeling, but I'll be optimistic this time given that Matt and DXC will be in the episode. More news everyone! Comedy Central released a Comic Con panels statement and includes a showcases on Futurama: • Saturday, July 24: "Futurama" panel (ballroom 20) 12:45-1:30 p.m. Join the cast and crew in celebrating "Futurama's" triumphant re-return to the airwaves! World-premiere footage will offer an exciting and informative glimpse of Comic-Con in the year 3010. Panelists include Executive Producers Matt Groening and David X. Cohen, cast members Billy West, John DiMaggio, Katey Sagal, and Maurice LaMarche, writers Ken Keeler and Patric M. Verrone, and director Crystal Chesney-Thompson and animation Producer Claudia Katz. Unfortunately Carolyn Premish will not be attending.

So Comedy Central posted an "Ode to the Fans", and yet again called us Parrotheads!!! What the hell?! When did we become Jimmy Buffet fans?! Really, what the fuck?! "As their referred to in the DSM-IV"? What's that supposed to mean?

But they continually say that we call ourselves Parrotheads. It's just getting annoying now because other outlets are calling us that too.

They're saying that all Futurama fans call themselves Parrotheads, like Star Trek fans call themselves Trekkers or Trekkies.

I haven't seen it elsewhere, except in cases where it's really just a link to the Tobey blog. I think it's just an internal consistency within his character to confuse the two. In any case, it doesn't bother me. If someone actually called me a "parrothead" for being a Futurama fan, I'd just laugh. They'd have to be a big enough fan of Futurama themselves to even know or bring up that reference. FutureShock: These are the ACTUAL Parrotheads: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ParrotheadThe joke is merely that the blogger would confuse the two fanbases. Nothing more.

What's missing in the second clip (I can't watch it because I'm in the UK). Is it Mom's "Introducing the new EyePhone 2.0" line?
Correct. However, one poster on another website argued that it was because that when you watch the episode as a whole, you know that what they clearly mean is 'eyePhone', however, this distinction is not possible when it is only spoken (and not read).

I couldn't watch it too. I tried looking on Youtube but I couldn't find it. Anyway, why are Comedy Central not realizing that not only people in the US like Futurama? And also cyber_turnip, have you watched the new episodes yet, because you can stream them online. That's what I did.
Comedy Central doesn't service the UK though. They have no right to air/post this footage for viewing in the UK. Call up whoever has the rights to the series in the UK and demand they start showing these new episodes.

Your Comedy Central isn't the same as ours. Yours doesn't have the rights to show Futurama.
