Futurama movie confirmed!!!

I just got an email from David X. Cohen (I've met him a few times and he emails me every once in a while) and he said that since Futurama is pretty much canned, they've started working on a full length movie!  They start right away with the original writing staff and producers even though they got fired from their 26 episode series run. 


Matt and David have always wanted to make Futurama movies, but never had the time or will power to pull it off with each 26 episode season, so now that futurama is cancelled, they pitched it to fox, and fox loved it, and bought the entire film. 

Look for Futurama the movie mid 2004!!!!

Yeah I thought that bit was weird. Surely if Fox loved it there wouldnt be tyhe same writers etc from what I gathered from other older threads.

You had me going for a while but the fact it's on hiatus rather than being cancelled made me question how genuine it was, also as others have stated Fox would never love anything Futurama related.
