Invader Zim was really good but it would hardly be worth trading Futurama for it no matter how many episodes it had...

I did, and could hardly care for it.

Oh Well.

I hear 13 year olds talk like that all the time.

That was kinda' my point.
Also, please check your PM's.

Now that Futurama's back, I'm glad it was uncanned. Even though I love AD almost as equally. Futurama has a sentimental edge for me.

AD is coming back anyway. :D But I slightly like Futurama better, but both shows are 11/10s for me. Glad to get both back!

I watched a few episodes of "Arrested Development" once, but wasn't so thrilled about this series. It was okay, just not something that made be go "Wow..GREAT!"
It was some kind of "switch on the TV for background entertainment when you are drawing or model making and you are too lazy to switch channels" entertainment.

Quite recently, I took it up to see what all the buzz was about (also I wanted a show to obsess with during the "offseason"). It is now my second favorite
show. It is almost as funny, and if you have Netflix, WATCH IT! It is the best sitcom ever made, and it has a great cast! If you like Futurama, then watch it! After all, every good show on Fox is cancelled!  ;)  :laff:

This is how I felt initially, but I can't recommend sticking with it enough. The more you see of it, the more you begin to 'get it' and the more the constant plate-spinning of running gags begins to be appreciated.
The show is a masterpiece but honestly, I might've given it a 7/10 when I first started watching it.

I agree...I caught some Season One and Two episodes here and there but things didn't start to click for me until I watched the series from very beginning in order. Then by the time Season 3 came out I was hooked.

I've always stayed loyal to Futurama, it's stayed my sentimental favorite for 12 years...
