My favourite part of ALOHO is:

Fry: Now I'm more interested in that new pizza parlour across the street. Kinda makes me pine for my days as a pizza delivery boy. "Here's you pizza," I'd say. "I didn't order any," they'd say. And then I'd be off to my next adventure.

Leela: That story stunk.

I love that moment, Jezzem. That sort of Fry's dumb/Leela's dismissive thing must be a Patric Verrone hallmark or something, because there's a similar exchange in "The Problem With Popplers" that always makes me laugh:

Fry: I wish they'd just wipe out humanity and get it over with. It's the waiting I can't stand.

Leela: That's stupid.

After seeing the new Futurama episodes, I don't know, I might start to like it more. But yes, compared to the rest of the original Futurama episodes, I did not like it at all. Worst episode ever [/CBG] or at least of original Futurama.

Is anyone else picturing Soryn foaming at the mouth with a crazy look in his eyes pounding on his keyboard with every post? I've never been able to figure out why people get so worked up over a differing opinion about a t.v. show.

No, I imagine him typing with nothing but calm, occassional mirth, and a persistant mean-spirited smirk.

I like how in this episode when they are making the movie, I like how they spent all the money on Pies.

I enjoyed ALOHO.  The "Human Bean Machine" reminds me of an old friend who felt that he was professional baseball material. The problem was, he wore glasses thicker than The Professor's and had the cordination of a whale out of water.

ALOHO is atcually one of my top 15 favorotes episodes.  It has a sad ending - Leela deiscovers that she isn't a positive role model to women and she stinks at the game she loves.  Maybe not as sad as the endings of Jurassic Bark or The Luck of The Fryish, but still sad.

That's Loberstainment is still the second lowest in my opinion.  The Cryonic Woman is my least favorite.

And everybody still has an opinion.

Well, its not the greatest episode ever, but I'd still give it a score between a 7.0/8.0 out of 10. The lowest rating I've ever given (excluding the movies) to a Futurama episode is a 7.0! Yeah, its quite hard for me to dislike a Futurama episode. I think I gave The Cryonic Women and A Leela Of Her Own an 8.0/8.5 last time I checked. I can't believe they're rated so low on CGEF!

You may end up being single, but I can't picture you being lonely for very long.

What they never told you is that I'm really an agoraphobe  =/ that's why I drew so much fanart it was my drawings that kept me company for years until I found someone I can trust enough to go outside with.

I'm afraid to make new friends because I have some serious trust issues so its not like I would ever go out for the purpose of meeting someone.  :nono:

But I digress... even a shut-in like me knows "That's Lobstertainment!" is one of the worst episodes of Futurama  :evillaugh:

Sure, they're generally good episodes and certainly all of them stand up to some of the lesser comedies like Dharma and Greg (terrible!), but strictly compared to itself, what are the worst five Futurama episodes? All the episodes from all six seasons (or, the first five plus the sixth so far) and the quartets of the four movies are up on the block.

First, here are the bottom five as reviewed by the voters on Got Futurama for references sake.

5- Attack of the Killer App- 63%
4- That's Lobstertainment- 61%
3- The Cryonic Woman- 57%
2- In-A-Gadda-De-Leela- 56%
1- A Leela of Her Own- 49%

Next, here are my bottom five.

5- A Leela of Her Own
4- Raging Bender
3- Where No Fan Has Gone Before
2- The Honking
1- That's Lobstertainment

In other news, this is my first post on PEEL. What's up guys?

To me, The Cryonic Woman is the wrost epsiode. I wasn't really interested in Michelle's character in the first place, I like her cameos in Space Pilot 3000 and BBS, however. Then why is this the wrost epsiode? It just can't keep my attention. The only joke I laughed out loud at is when Fry says: "Oh, so it's safer than skateboarding." Then smiles for a few seconds then closes his mouth and holds that for a few seconds more before changing scenes.

Although, That Darn Katz! and Proposition Infinity have the wrost jokes of all time in them. The circusitus and cat can-can jokes. But that doesn't bring those entire epsiodes down. They're not the best, but not the wrost.

In The Cryonic woman, I find that the parts that don't have Michelle in them seem to be good, but when I see Michelle, the episode seems to be bad, and then back to normal after shes gone again. Lets just hope there won't be another episode centered around Michelle again.

Godfellas for me. I know this episode is bummed by many - but not me. I find it extremely boring and unfunny. Many people love the ep because of how well it handles religion and how philosophical it is. I understand that, but as a Futurama episode, I found it horribly unfunny and boring. I just saw it as Bender floating through space for 22 minutes. This is definitely my least favourite episode, I cannot even think of an episode that comes close. My next least favourite is quite possibly Attack Of The Killer App, but I'd still rather watch that 10 times over than watch Godfellas again.

As for the 'unanimously agreed' worst episodes (The Cryonic Woman, That's Lobstertainment) I really don't see people's problems with them. I liked the cryonic woman. That's lobstertainment wasn't as good, but still ok IMO.

I think Godfellas is a good episode. I like how Bender played God and learned his lesson and all, and I found it funny. Especially the parts with Fry and Leela.  Granted, there were only about 3 or 4 minutes of them, but...

Wow, that doesn't help, does it.

But I agree that Attack of the Killer App is one of the worst, it felt more like a current episode of The Simpsons, if Lisa or Marge had a singing boil on their butt. But the humor was Simpsons all the way. Funny, but not what we wanted out of a Futurama episode.

My bottom five (worst-to-best):

-5: Attack of the Killer App
-4: Beast with a Billion Backs
-3: In-a-Gadda-da-Leela
-2: A Pharaoh to Remember
-1: That's Lobstertainment!

I think that in a way, Attack of the killer app to us is bad in the same way as in the cryonic woman, the parts with a certain character were bad , but when they weren't there, the episode seemed a lot better.

For what it's worth, I agree with Kornography, 'Where No Fan Has Gone Before' really doesn't appeal to me, but I'm not into Star Treck nor know much about it. If I did, then it might change my opinion on the ep. Quite possibly in my bottom 3, or if not, then definitely bottom 5.

I was not into Star Trek either when I saw it (I am not really into it now), but just knowing that it is Star Trek is hilarious in itself.  The point they make about him paying his devotion to a 'fake crew' and then a real one tries to save them; hilarious.

This episode doesn't function in the delivery of gags, but the absurdity of everything.  And absurdity is when Futurama is best.

I wouldn't say it was a bad episode - just one of my least favourites. I admit I haven't watched the ep in quite some time. However, there was no Professor Farnsworth in the ep, my all time favourite character, which is another gripe I have with it

I don't dislike 'the why of fry', it's an important episode. Although a bit of the prof would have improved it for me.

I only said that the fact that the prof wasn't in 'where no fan has gone before' is a gripe. It is not the soul reason I rank the ep so low, as stated
