actually, an episode that was just one day in the life of zapp brannigan would be an amazing sight.

That could be extremely entertaining - moreso if the writers use the acerbic & sarcastic Kif from LLLiS, and not the wimpy, milquetoast version of later episodes.

That is without a doubt one of the best idea's I've ever heard. It definitely would need a special opening with it's themesong though.

Zapp's reaction to learning that "his woman" is now (presumably) involved with Fry would also be priceless.

They should include a short episode of "The Adventures of Zapp Brannigan"* in the Zapp episode.

*For those that don't know: The creators originally wanted a cartoon show featuring an exaggeratedly heroic Brannigan as the running show within a show. This idea was later dropped in favor of more Zapp appearances and The Scary Door/All My Circuits.

In some ways, Stephen Colbert's Tek Jansen shorts are very similar to this concept.

How about an episode parodying James Bond!?
Cold opening features some space terrorism and for some reason Fry is recruited by Brannigan to be a DOOP special agent.
Then we'd have an alternate intro sequence with a "Futurama" theme song by Carly Simon and silhouettes of ray guns and various alien, robot, and humanoid females.

Dammit. American Dad did exactly this last night. Poorly. Seth MacFarlane is forever ripping off my already-ripped-off ideas and ruining them.

Just anything that deals with Fry in general.  Could be more episodes about his past, or another episode where he learns more about the future and stuff.

I loved the episode where he did some awesome things, that he always dreamed about doing.  I think that episode was "I Dated A Robot".

Oh, and of course, I wanna see more episodes about the Niblonians!  And the Brain Spawn!  =D

Anyway. I know a lot of people aren't big fans, but I'd really like to see more episodes with Morris and Munda. I liked that BG attempted to explore Leela's relationship with them to a certain extent, but they've both been pretty underused (seeing as how they only made three proper appearances in the series, in pretty rapid succession). I'd like to see more of them interacting with their daughter (I think, if Fry and Leela end up dating at the start of the new season, it would be reasonable and organic to the story to see Morris and Munda's reaction).

just thought of a great plot idea! Old-timey episode chronicling the history of blernsball! there can be a part on integration,  a history of the old robot leagues("it was then that scientists from moms robot company decided to modify a howitzer, and pitch-o-mat 5000 was born") , the landmark decision that made steroid injections mandatory and more!

EDIT - random thing i always love to see more of Lurr and Ndnd, the best dysfunctional couple on TV (they Wuv eachother  )

I'd like to see more of Nibbler's home planet coming into the rest of the universe.  A lot of fun was had with Zoidberg's people, both visiting the planet and having them come to Earth.  Bender on Nibbler's home planet seems like it'd be a lot of fun.

I wonder how much, if any, of the stuff from the movies will carry over to this next season.  Little things like Bender's D&D addiction, Leela's love of all things shock collar, stuff like that.

this new season airs in mid 2010.. and has less writers then before... so itll be wack... but this is what it will look like

theyll ofcourse change bender into being some raging homo because they saw stewie of family guy go that way, and theyll be like "hehehe.... thats funny"... but THEYRE WRONG!!! ITS RETARDED!!!!

fry will rarely remember that he is in love with leela, and whats worse, shell be more of a b***h about it...

kiff will probably die for some reason, which might be fine with me, except they will only be doing it so they can add some new love interest in for AMY, and that person will probably be more annoying and a gayer character than kiff was

zapp branigan will get with leela for a moment, which is okay, but theyll figure some way out to make it gay, like leela will also fall in love with the professor

leelas parents will rarely have a roll in this season, even though they should by now become semi reoccuring characters

okay.. they can do all that stuff if you guys want it to be gayness.. i see alot of these people on here that just kind of excepted all of the plot holes and stuff like that, and they dont actually care about the continuity or actually know whats funny... so i would just screw the show up by making it good like it was in the 3rd and 4th season anyway... so thats cool... if i contradicted myself by saying it wouldnt be good with all that stuff in it, and you think it would be good with all that stuff in it... ill refrain

besides the obligatory 'Tales of Interest' I want to see an episode chronicling the history of Blernsball. I can see it being done in the style of the family guy star wars episode, where the shows characters become other characters for the episode. Fry plays a young Clem Johnson, bender could be an early player in the robot leagues, and the history could end with the first woman to play, the real leela.

I think those are two things we'd all love. Well, maybe Roosevelt up there wouldn't like it too much.


I'd like to see them introduce some new reoccurring characters. Look at how large the Simpsons universe is, and that's just one town! Futurama has an entire universe and over 1000 years! I'd like to see them have David Herman and Tom Kenny do some more voices too.

I would like to see (hear?) the original voice actors, first and foremost.  More canonical storyline like Gorky mentioned, and of course no departure from exceptional writing and animation.  A smoke monster would be cool, too.
