While I love the voice acting and the writing of Futurama, the show would not have achieved the greatness it did without Rough Draft Studios, specifically Rich Moore. His episodes of the show are my favorites of the series, followed by Susie Dietter's. Plus I love their participation in the commentaries. So until their involvement is announced, I await cautiously. Does anyone else feel this way?

There are already numerous discussion threads for the new series.

I see that there are about four or five other threads about the return of the show, and they fall into two categories. One seems to be reactions to it coming back (yay or nay) and the other type is plot theories. This was a specific question that I was looking for feedback on, like if anyone else had a preference in directors and if that affected their feelings about it coming back.

I know I'm new, but did I do something wrong?

First off, I am glad to see a decent return of the series.  26 episodes is a seriuos commitment by FOX and Comedy Central.

Yes, I've been a vocal critic of the DVDs - the different format just didn't fit Futurama.

Now for any writers/directors/producers who may see this:

Please, oh Please lose the RESET BUTTON.  You guys finally flipped the switch and had Leela admit she loves Fry.  Good, move on from there.  Believe me, they are all kinds of drama, humor and high jinks that can come from moving past this point and not ignoring it.

hey, Mossy, mind changing your avy?  If you notice, no two PEELers have the same avatar, except you and me.  And no offense, mate, but I called this one several years before you did. ;)

I'm sure they have been in contact with key people since they got word that a renewal was a possibility but a lot of it has to hinge upon the current projects they are working on. If for no other reason than Rich Moore provided a spark in the DVD commentary I certainly hope he is back.
