Is the blu-ray version of "Into the Wild Green Yonder" worth the extra cost? I don't have a lot of money and thought the video quality of the other dvds was just fine but if the extras make it worth it...

I mean, anything in high definition is going to look better than standard, animation included. That said, I chose to pick up the DVD version because of the price and that I don't see any extra incentives to getting the blu-ray version. Usually BR movies have a bunch more special features added to draw people to that media format.

Regardless, the movie is fantastic regardless how you watch it.

I disagree that anything in HD looks better - it depends on what they started with, and how much care was used in conversion. I bought Bender's Game on blue ray though, and it definately seemed worth it, so yah.

I got the BD version of it and I think its worth it.  It looks beautiful and it is fun to watch the video commentary.

I have the Blu-Ray of ITWGY, and the shots of outer space, the violet dwarf system, etc. are absolutely beautiful.  Worth the extra dough in my opinion.  In comparison, I don't think Bender's Game really took advantage of the better resolution.

I'd really love to see it in Blu-Ray but I think I'll buy BRP when the price is down in, say, a years time.

Do you think the first two will be available in BR soon?

If the animation was better it'd be more worth it IMO...
