I work at an NBC affiliate, and I'm gonna be stuck at work EVERY Sunday when Futurama comes on.  I can pull up just about any satellite there is though.  Does anyone know which satellite/transponder the Futurama feed comes down on?  Thanks in advance.

Okay, I admit to not knowing. Maybe if I worked at a TV station there'd be someone there I could ask? Worth a try.

Just use your VCR, dude.  It's that easy.  A whole lot easier than asking at an internet message board populated by mostly teens.

Seriously man, the VCR route can't be that hard!  Like there's anyone here who would have ANY idea what satellite feed Futurama is on.  I mean, you work somewhere that you can get satellite feeds and you don't even know  :D

Maybe you would want to try this:

Buy a pair of video phones, and put one at home, point it at your TV tuned into FOX, then call yourself from work.  Of course, you'd probably need someone to answer the phone, and the video quality on a video phone is about that of an entire episode in real media format with a total file size of 3 megabytes, but hey, you'd get to hear it wouldn't you?   :laff:

Come on guys, he was only asking a question , and he's from my PEEL generation :). I'm afraid I don't know the answer and I doubt anyone here does, you could always go the downloading route, just don't ask where to download it because it's against PEEL rules.

Can you make any sense of that chart? I sure can't, but that's what I found when searching google. I don't know if that helps at all, but good luck.

New episodes are usually released in "digital videotape" days after they are aired. I found several copies of Buggalo last week doing a search with downloading software.

You can't ask that, Torque...

As for the satelite question, check w. Fox.  I'm sure they could tell you.

pfft, PEEL rules this and PEEL rules that...
If you wanna download you either need mIRC or you could use a download manager like Morpheus of Limewire....  The ONLY good URL I know right now is that guy but he only has the latest one and its in DivX...  I don't know any transponder numbers I only play with my satelite reciever every once in awhile (and besides I don't even get Fox on it) so I hope that helps in some strange absurd way...  I hope you read this soon cause because of YOUR PEEL RULES, Nix (most likely) or Velour, or mArc, or Edel will delete it........

They have more than one, don't know which one Futurama is on but here is a list: http://www.contrib.andrew.cmu.edu/~aaron2/fox/fox-satellite.html

Thanks to everyone who responded with something helpful.  I think that the feed comes down Saturday morning, to air Sunday night (meaning the station records it) Which sucks for me since I work on Sunday when it comes on, but, not Saturday when the feed comes down.  As far as the VCR thing, I have been recording them faithfully, I'd just rather watch it ASAP instead of having to wait to get off work and watch.
