Okay so I just watched the whole movie, and as a whole, thought it was really great. The comedy was mostly slapstick, and I got a few puns here and there. The ending truly surprised me--I had no clue that that would be the one. More spoiler-filled review: I don't really understand the whole sub-plot with Bender and Fanny. Although funny, it really only takes up half the plot, then it fades off. But, it did give Bender an active part in the beginning, so, that was good.
I am surprised how quickly the plot kicked off, though. Right away it jumped into the mind reading and eco-feminist plot. I am almost glad it did, because if not, the beginning would have been pretty slow. I am really happy how the leech played a larger role than thought in this movie, and the fact that it was shown right in the beginning. It explains a lot, kind of.
The story line moved smoothly together, which I liked, and there weren't many jumps in the story.
I particularly loved the ending. Not only because of the fact that everyone is together, Amy and Kif seem to make up, and Fry and Leela kiss, but I love the analogy they made of how they may never return if they go into the wormhole. It is exactly what may happen. They may return to tv or not. I totally got that, and I truly hope they do return. (I really hope Billy West is right...)

Smarty: on the ending: I liked how the Fry/Leela thing was not the major focus of the movie. It was a nice, sweet way to end it, but thankfully they didn't make the whole movie about those two.

Hey PEEL, it's been awhile.
I saw ITWGY on Thursday and I loved it. BBS is still my favorite of the movies, but this one comes in a close second (with the other two tied for last - I really didn't like either). Lots of laughs, and great plot, and perfect characterization makes it feel like Futurama through and through. Can't wait for the commentary.

I promise you it does. It's all handled well though.
Except:
The reveal of the Dark One, bit of a let down really. I wanted Brainspawn.
Brainspawn as the dark ones would make sense since they know about Fry's lack of the D.B.W, although the Dark One would know before hand. I've watched it quite alot since the past week and I haven't got bored of it yet. I also have a subtitle file. I'm trying to change that to a transcript, which is saving half of my time.

There is something I kind of get about the ending, but they should have fixed it to all make sense: In the images at the end, everyone goes back to their usual dress: Fry in his red jacket and jeans, Leela in her black pants, and Amy in her solid pink sweatsuit. Yet, Kif still has his white uniform on. Then they change it back to normal, all in the same scene. Since they were going to do that for all of them, I think they should have done that since the beginning of the ship scene. See, the first happens just a few seconds before the second frame.

Additional: I have an idea, when the DVD is released, why don't we try and get everyone that has seen ITWGY have the avatar below (May need some assembly) I'd do a proper one but I was in a rush.

Perfect, Bubblegum Smarty. That change will happen next Monday, now that I've gotten used to Hucth. I feel sorry for my long lost sister, but I found her Femi-necklace. I'm going to be myself but make you think I sound like Hutch. And wear the tin foil hat. SoS, go for it if you want. It's not permanent, just for a week. 2 weeks if we count the Australians.

Pirated copies really aren't great, though. I love buying the dvds to have them right there, and especially for the commentary. I really want to hear the commentary for this movie...

That reminds me. How did he know that it was his sister's femi-necklace if it was his long lost sister? I'm sure he wouldn't have seen her when she had it on. That's what made me a little confused... I need to remember when I post...I keep on double posting.

Viva Mars Vegas. Bill's Gamblin' Hall and Saloon, and Buggalo Bill's. Excalibur, and Excalibot. Fremont Street in downtown Las Vegas, and its equivalent in Mars Vegas. Mandalay Bay, and Botany Bay (I think the name here is because Mandalay Bay is a tropical jungle-themed resort, I'm not sure) (EDIT: Never mind, it's a Star Trek reference.) The Mirage, and the Miragio (a combo spoof of the Mirage and the Bellagio, both of which are owned by the same company). The Bellagio fountains at night, and a similar set of fountains at the Wong. The New York New York roller coaster, and the equivalent at Mars. The Venetian, and the Venutian. The Wynn, and the Wong. There were other casinos in the intro that seemed like they were spoofs, but I couldn't quite identify them (for example, there's a tiny underwater casino that looks like Caesars Palace, but I couldn't quite identify the joke there).

Yeah, they did a great job of "Futuramatizing" Vegas. They are really similar. Without the pictures I would have just thought of them as original designs though, since I have never really seen Las Vegas...

Botany Bay is a Star Trek joke. I felt it was the funniest of the casino jokes.
