Nobody's posted "Bender's Game" online yet. I've been checking daily for it.

I'll be waiting until release day, it'll be ok as lots of things are coming out between now and then, and I already have the other two Futurama movies on DVD. I haven't downloaded any Futurama since 2003 in the old kazaa days...

That's the best way to look at aknightofni. Sure... we download stuff, but we actually care enough to support the show, but we want to have computer copies too... and we're impatient. I remember waiting in a chatroom (#futuramachat) downloading episodes the same day they aired. It was always like a release party in there. I need to rebuy a copy of season 4 now that I think about it.

Just let me know what the deal with the collar around Leela's neck is about.
I can't think of anybody brave enough to place such a thing around her neck. Stupid would be the word. That equals Fry. Insane equals Farnsworth.

This isn't the first that I've heard of the first 22 minutes being slow to build up to the rest of the movie, does it flow well enough to be it's own episode and be understandable/enjoyable?
Anyway, Im a Trek geek and have never played D&D - will it appeal to the rest of us never got into the D&D scene? (This isn't a trick question - Futurama is nortorious for making "in" jokes that make sense to people with a background to the thing being joked.)
Anyway, the two minute trailer makes it appear to be a fun-filled romp. I shall wait my turn as Amazon delivers my copy. Since it's being released on Nov. 4, that's election day for us in the USA, I'm sure I'll get it on Wednesday the 5th. I'm sure that by then there'll be enough stuff placed on the boards to really spoil the movie.
Thanks for the non-spoiler spoiler.
And I like being spoiled - I'll watch ITWGY along with the same first watching.
And once again I'll say, I think that DXC and Groening should give you (mArc) a huge hug for all the business that your website and message board has given them.

Second! If I were in Germany again and knew where -mArc- lived I'd buy him a drink.

The first 22 minutes aren't really slow. They just don't make obvious what the rest is about. I don't think that any of the movie segments so far would have been really great episodes on their own. If they were, they'd probably not be good for the movie. I haven't played D&D really and was fine. There are some other fantasy reference in there that are more important to "getting it". But the references don't target obscure fantasy trivia like, say, Xena's girlfriend's name or something. edit: I don't really drink "drinks". Maybe apple juice?

If they were, they'd probably not be good for the movie. I know I've been one of the most vocal dissenters of the first DVD. It was a compromise that had to be made to get the contract for the four DVD's but trying to juggle making a 90 minute movie yet to be able to get four 22 minute episodes has to really damage the timing. I haven't played D&D really and was fine. There are some other fantasy reference in there that are more important to "getting it". But the references don't target obscure fantasy trivia like, say, Xena's girlfriend's name or something. Oh come on. we know there's a black cloak buried wayyy deep in your closet. (That's a joke.) I shall have to wait and see if my fantasy pop-culture background is sufficient to enjoy/understand this movie. edit: I don't really drink "drinks". Maybe apple juice? Your liver will thank you in 20+ years. Mine's already crying "Uncle". Apple juice? blechhhh. Just give me good old Welch's Grape Juice any day. And I guess you're not going to let me know about the collar on Leela... (I'll get my own collar. With Blackjack. and hookers. lots of hookers.)

Can't wait to see the movie, the reviews are very good. But I'm not going to see the ITWGY preview, I don't want to know anything before I see the movie, I want the complete surprise.

The internet is really dropping the ball here. It comes out a month today and I haven't seen it!
Trying to string my anxious waiting into smaller waiting segments seemed to help. That's exactly what I am thinking ^^ I want a time sphere right now...

I'm not sure why, but I'm finding the wait pretty easy for this movie. The last one was hell to wait for, but now I'm more casual about it. I'll still be picking it up on release day though...
