Futurama kind of has a Halloween episode: The Honking.  Many horror elements: Carpathian castle right out of Frankenstein, Werecar like a werewolf, robot ghosts, etc.

"The Honking" also has a more supernatural plot what with the werecar transformation and all, and it does seem to be set in slightly colder times since Leela has her jacket on much more than usual in that episode.

I thought The Honking was a "Christine" spoof, as well.

It's got a lot of Halloween & horror elements.  Although, I'd also enjoy an out & out Halloween episode.  Come to think of it, throw in Easter & Thanksgiving episodes as well.

I would love to see more weird futuristic holidays.

I agree! It's so funny how they just change some aspects of the holidays!

Change one thing? Do the movies count as one thing?

You'd have to pick one movie to change.

I'd change the fact that Leela and Fry getting together at the end of Into the Wild Green Yonder just came out of nowhere. If they'd built towards that conclusion throughout the film, it would have been fantastic but as it was, it was just there to pander to fans who didn't want the show to potentially end without them together.

Uh, I don't know which Into The Wild Green Yonder you were watching but in the version I was was watching they actually did build towards it...

Yeah, I noticed huge hints throughout the movie that built up to that point.

There are hints. Given how explicit Bender's Big Score was and Fry still didn't get anywhere, I think a few hints aren't exactly a satisfying build up.

He's got a point. You could argue that the 'build-up' only resonates if you already know what's gone before in the Fry-Leela saga.

Good spotting, that man, alligator er turnip!

First of all, there are not a few hints, as I clearly recapped on page 9 of the movie thread.

Second, if the build-up only resonates if you're already in the know about Fry and Leela, then what's the problem? We're all fans here, so we know what went on, so the build-up should have resonated with at least most of us, which it did.

Third, doesn't it actually make more sense that this approach worked? If every time that Fry made a big attempt at winning Leela's heart didn't work, doesn't it make sense that his subdued actions in ITWGY did?

Lastly, I'd say it's a fan who is less likely to catch all those hints and build-up then a non-fan. Non-fans would basically accept whatever they see on-screen, so all the "hints" were pretty obvious to them. As fans, we've had to deal with reset after reset of Fry and Leela's romance, so to have the chase end, and end in a way unlike previous parts of the chase ("subtle" (it really isn't that subtle, I'd say it's more subdued and mature) over melodramatic) might have felt like a letdown. But it really isn't. We're just so used to the chase being so big and end-of-the-universey and center stage that to have it handled in a mature and subdued (like it's wholly part of the characters rather than a flavor of the week) matter felt strange. But really, it isn't. It's simply the next step in Fry and Leela's relationship, and one I think all fans should support.
