Hey I'm just wondering about the rights to Futurama here in the UK. I understand that Sky has them (and currently showing the show on Sky One, Two and Three) but does that only apply to the current episodes (i.e. not the movies or the converted episodes once made)? I hope so because I haven't got Sky and you just know they'll put it on Sky One to try and get more subsriptions. Anyone know anything about the rights to the new stuff coming to the UK?

You know the TV rights in the UK. What I want to know is if Sky has the rights to the new stuff (the shows that will be shown on Comedy Central in the US).

Probably. They're owned by Mrdoch, who also owns Fox. They're like FOX UK, really.

Yeah i've looked into it a bit more and the answer seems to be wait and see, Paramount Comedy is probably the only other channel likely to get it other than Sky One. Also Jon Stewart was on More4.

Can anyone see any other channel picking it up in the UK?

I was just wondering where the new 16 chopped up dvd movie episode would be shown in Blighty.  But I don't think I'd be waiting for it to come to the telly, I'll probably be first in line for the DVDs  :)
