Also, Bender was said to not have killed Donbot's wife, but actually have an affair with her.

To stir the pot about future Futurama, here's something funny on Amazon.com: http://tinyurl.com/4uq8n4"Season 5 of Futurama"? So I sent an e-mail asking about "Season 5" and here's the response: Season Five will consist of 18 new episodes of Futurama. No release date is available.Soooo... Is the e-mail incorrect and it will be the Movie DVDs 1-4 repackaged? Then how do they get 18 episodes instead of 16? I hope that means something is in the workds but just won't be revealed until after ITWGY is released. Opinions?

although its possible that this is a real summary, all the things he said could be made up from just watching the trailer or lokking at the cover art if you ask me, then he's trying to use it as a tease to make us feel worse e.g: "i have seen it, nah nah ni nah nah!" Season Five will consist of 18 new episodes of Futurama. No release date is available.
well i just found a site, (sorry if its already been found) that says it has been oficially "announced" that this is the end http://www.cinemablend.com/dvdnews/Futurama-Heads-Into-The-Wild-Green-Yonder-13684.html

I must admit that bit is what makes his summary sound a bit less credible but this is a story about the whole universe ending...who knows what the hell that could supposedly entail? It could all just be a wind up, it could be genuine information...I'm still favouring the latter but the only way we'll know for sure is if we watch the film. Though I'm guessing that the forthcoming reviews will shed more light on the story...it might be worth remembering his summary however just to see if any new information that might be gained from reviews fits in with his version of events. That's probably the quickest way to find out if what he's saying is valid or not.

if you ask me, then he's trying to use it as a tease to make us feel worse e.g: "i have seen it, nah nah ni nah nah!" That's not what bothers me. What bothers me is the fact that his review, however grammatically incorrect it may be, could be legit, which therefore summarizes that this movie's gonna suck. Also, has anybody visited the official site for the movies recently? I have a strong feeling that the holophoner is going to make a return in the finale.

I actually thought that if what he said was true that there was good potential to make a damn good final movie from it. Different strokes for different folks I guess.

hey gorge what do u think season 5 is the movies cut into episodes?
Indeed, I do think that this "Season 5" of which you speak will just be the movies in episode format. The reason there isn't a release date is probably because they haven't all been made/shown yet.

The "season 5" could really just be all four movies plus the Hypnotoad episode and all the cutscenes from the video game.

actually they are already showing season 5 on channel ten in australia (the land from whence i hail!) and it IS the movies chopped up!
in my opinion, it ruins the experience because they were made to be MOVIES so you lose the continuity and plot in the couple-of-day breaks between episodes!

also ralph how did you email amazon or whats there email thanks im very confused about this season 5.
If you're a member of Amazon.com, there's a link "Click for help". After going through some FAQ shit, there's a place that you can type in questions. And yes, "Season 5" is confusing. That's why I'm asking questions. If Futurama is strong enough as a money maker to warrent it's own Amazon Store, then sales must be pretty good. FOX loves money, lots of money so I would say there is hope that ITWGY won't be the last we will see of the Planet Express crew. And tonight Bender's Big Score will be on Comedy Central. I won't be watching it. Two nights ago I watched Parasites Lost. BBS just doesn't compare.

amazon's "season 5" has to refer to the movies. There's no way amazon would know about a secret season of new episodes before it was leaked to the public.
yer thats what i was thinking sadly it's just the movies then oh well.

Yeah me too. Like, 24 hours off this thing and this is the thread that has gotten about a truckload of replies. It isn't the same reading them all in about ten minutes...oh well, I did, so I am up to date. Yeah, I think it could be fake. I mean, in this thread everyone comes to their own conclusions about what will happen. But who knows? It could be true... No bets on that...

i think either this kid has seen it or he's really good at making stories, but some stuff was bs
I think more people would have been inclined to believe him if he hadn't started slagging off people when he was pulled up on his grammar. He seemed friendly enough at first though since he was probably in his early teens at most it wasn't a surprise that he got all narky over something so small. I'm still inclined to believe the summary was genuine but the forthcoming reviews should give us more idea as to whether he was telling the truth or not - providing they provide more "official" plot detail.
