I've just rewatched the trailer of ITWGY.
They seem to be on Mars. But what are the Wongs building? And what about the other people who are lying dead behind the crew?
If that's the case, then this movie has brainspawn written all over it. I hope there will be some Holophonor stuff, too. I would be quite disappointed if they dropped that plot.
It's the "Fry is dead" scene that makes the events of the movie so difficult to predict. Knowing when that scene happens in the film would make it a bit easier to have a good guess at where all the other events tie in. As to how he dies I initially thought that he'd "die" in an accident in and around the construction site...but the site of other corpses leads me to think that the "war" going on might be the cause. I get the feeling he'll "die" near the beginning or towards the middle. I don't know what leads me to think that but I'd be surprised if it happened near the end...but who knows? I too would like to see the holophoner make a return just for continuity's sake. There's meant to be one or two musical scenes in the film so it could well lead to a holophoner scene.

I believe Bender will die.....
I watched the commentary for BBS today and in it one writer said how him being part steel is a liquid and after thousands to hundreds of thousands of years it returns to it's liquid form. Considering the time travelling bender has done and how long he actually exists for I expect he'll return to liquid form

He won't, like with Fry they're not going to kill off any of the main characters with them gunning for more episodes. It'd be absolute madness on their part and we all know that the writers are far from stupid. If what they implied is true then there might be a period in the film where it looks like he's done for but he'll be fine by the end. Even if they weren't after more episodes they wouldn't kill any of the main characters off...it's only a light hearted (though often deep), sci fi animated comedy after all...it's not a hard hitting drama series laden with angst.

Yeah I guess you're right, though they did say that was giving away the plot so it could be key to the story

It probably will be key to the story...providing it actually is in the plot and the writers weren't just throwing in a red herring to fool us all. But nevertheless, Bender, like Fry and the rest of the PE employees, is too key to Futurama to get rid of. He probably will be in danger at some point, as will Fry by the looks of things but they won't be killing any of the main characters off that's for sure. It wouldn't provide a "very satisfactory" and "sweet" ending if one of the characters got killed off afterall.

But yes. Don't get me wrong, I think under the right circumstances they COULD kill off a main character and make it "sweet" with the right death and send-off, I've seen it work, but I doubt that's what they're going for at this time.

Now with the review from Screenjabber, we know a little more. Not a nail in his head, it is the piece of women's jewlery, and the hat does have to do with mind reading. I'm starting to wonder if the Brainspawn are In this; but you can never tell. Woo. More info at the site.

Hey, it's a cartoon, they can make virtually anything happen.
But yeah, it is weird. It will all come together somehow in the movie...It always/sometimes/never does...

Ok I can't see the picture so...TO GOOGLE! **edit** I can't find it and these posts are torturing my soul...I want to see this thing... But I won't give up! **edit** Ok so this is all happening in five minutes, but I did the smart thing and checked the Futurama sites, and I went and hopped over to Futurama Madhouse...and it was there...and I was...amazed...and I looked.....like this: Not really, but it is definately one of the best covers of the four, if not the best. I can't wait to get it! I mean half the reason I get the thing is to watch it for hours at a time and stare at the cover. Unfortunately, it will end up being squished or stepped on...poor, paper covers...
