If worst comes to worst and this is the big it, what's left in terms of development?

Is all the animation done for the remaining Season 4 episodes?  The date listed on the "Leela's Homeworld" script was for March of 2001.  Are all the episodes just sitting in a vault at Fox somewhere?

The entire 4ACV batch is finished. There might be some minor post-production work to be done on a few of the episodes. At any rate Sarge is better at answering these questions.

No, you did it pretty well yourself, Teral. Post-production work usually continues till it's finished, even if a show is cancelled or shelved.
But in this case, there's enough of production season 4 to fill up a fifth season next Winter/Spring.

Considering the slow rate that new eps are airing, we'd probably only see around 10 this season. Just enought to finish the 3ACV batch.
