Jesum H Crackers! Futurama Marathon!

Hey! All you Canadians that get Global. You lucky bastards. On Saturday, Feb. 15, you guys get a three hour marathon of Futurama! Which consists of:
11:30pm: "A Bicyclops Built for Two"
12am: "Raging Bender"
12:30am: "The Deep South"
1am: "Time Keeps on Slipping"
1:30am: "Insane in the Mainframe"
2am: "I Dated a Robot"

Again, I say, you lucky bastards.

I don't feel so bad. More important is, I think, that we're finally getting a brand new episode!! T minus one hour on launching the episode review thread!

I'm gonna' have to hook-up the old rotor antenna and see if I can still pick=up Global.  Before we got cable Global came in pretty good.

Finally a reason to live in Canada, eh?

Global ran 2 eps this late last Saturday night  as well: (can't remember the eps - getting old, memmory ain't what it was, what were we talking about?)  I'm not sure what has gotten into Global all of a sudden, but I'm sure happy about it.

No, finally Global's doing something good. They never show us previews for the upcoming episodes, that's why I like it when Global doesn't show Futurama and we get it on FOX.

I just put my Dark Angel tape in to check what episodes did air on Saturday night.(Unfortunatly I had to go down to the states over the weekend, my mother made me since I didn't have to work    ) So Futurama is on a Dark Angel tape and I have to copy it from one tape to another, enough about what tape it's on --

 I know that Global did not show 3 hours - only 1 1/2 hours (at least here in Vancouver, BC we only got 1 1/2 hours) But they were @ horibble times 11:35 pm, 12:05 am and 12:35 am. The epsiodes that Global aired in Vancouver were: "Bender Gets Made" "Anthology of Interest I" and "War Is The H-Word"

Finally Golbal did something good.
 


So oviously that is not 3 hours. Don't tell me Global ripped me off! If they did, I'm goning to be even more angry at them then I already am (And believe me that's pretty damn angry.)
 

So they're pretty good episodes. "Anthology of Interest I" and "War is the H-Word" are two of my favorite episodes.

I was just rereading FlithyCrab's last post, the one I quoted.

Global didn't air any episodes of Futurama last week where I live. I would have known about them. I check the TV Guide listings every second day and check to see when Futurama is on, just like this not @ 7 on Sunday.

Global has decided not to show any extra epsiodes this week, but next week on Feb. 24 At 12:00 AM (midnight - yuck!) Global's going to air "The Day The Earth Stood Stupid." I'm really starting to wonder what Global's doing. Especially since they are usually even worse than FOX for airing Futurama (Worse than FOX? Is that possible - YES with Global anything's possible.) Half of the new episodes I have on tape are on Global and the other half on FOX. At one point on one of my tapes the episodes aired Global, FOX, Global, FOX, Global. Extremely Annoying.

Maybe I should quit my job at the theater and get a job at Global. Then just maybe I could persuade them to air these epsiodes at a decent time...
