Walking On Sunshine

This is how I'd like to see the first new episode begin. "Walking on Sunshine" randomly played on my iPod yesterday morning, and as usual, it brought to mind our favorite animated sci-fi show.  I have a playlist of songs used on Futurama, and I include "... Sunshine" even though the original was never used on the show because it became such a major part of Fry's character. So, when the song came on my mind started on Futurama then jumped over to a motif I'm certain they used on at least two season openers of The Sopranos. These opened with a montage with no dialogue showing what all the various characters are currently up to set to a song. (If I remember right, one of them was Frank Sinatra's "A Very Good Year."  That's how I'd like to see the first new episode open, a montage showing us what Fry, Leela, Bender, Hermes, Amy, the Professor, Zapp, Kif, Cubert, Scruffy, Morbo, Calculon and countless supporting characters have been up to since we last saw them. All while the sounds of Katrina and the Waves plays over it. Not only is it clearly Fry's favorite song, it's a song that will echo what I (and probably the majority of the fans) will be feeling upon seeing these characters grace our screens in new adventures again at last.

That sounds like a cool idea.

We have threads discussing the return of Futurama and what will come next for the series. This fits well with the second thread, since this has to do with what you think should go into the new episodes. Also, don't be disheartened if this thread gets closed.
