Q1: When did Futurama first air?
A1: It first aired 28th March 1999 on FOX in the USA.

Q2: How many episode are there?
A2: There are 72 episode total.

Q3: Are there going to be any Futurama movies made?
A3: Matt Groening and David X. Cohen have stated that they would like to see a Futurama trilogy. But at this moment, there are no plans for making a Futurama full length film as there's always FOX to talk to, too.

Q4: Are there any Futurama video games?
A4: UDS is producing a Futurama game for the Xbox, PS2 and GameCube (GC Europe only). It should be out in summer 2003.

Q5: Where can I download episodes?
A5: Wouldn't know. Do not mail us about this, either.

Q6: When does season 6 start in the US?
A6: Nevers. The episodes aired during summer 2003 are the last ones.

Q7: Are you sure FOX aired Futurama? I've never seen it there.
A7: Contrary to all rumour, it's not just rumour that FOX once aired Futurama. If you didn't see it, that might be because it had a very unstable schedule with sometimes months between new episodes. Other episodes were shown in progress or not at all due to sports running long. Promotion by FOX became less and less towards the end of the show.

Q8: Are there any Futurama comic books?
A8: Yes, Matt Groening's Bongo Comics publishs Futurama comics and some specials on a roughly bimonthly basis. You can reach them at futuramacomics@bongocomics.com. There are collection books called "Futurama-O-Rama" with 4 issues each.

Q9: Where can I download scanned Futurama comic books then?
A9: See "Where can I download episodes?"

Q10: What's the song at the end of "Leela's Homeworld"?
A10: "Baby Love Child" on the album "Made in USA" by "Pizzicato 5".

Q11: I keep seeing these 3ACV10 kind of things .. What's that?
A11: These are abbriviations for specific episodes. The first number tells for which production run the episode was made. The 'ACV' part has no real meaning but is uniquely assigned to Futurama by FOX. The numbers after that denote the number of the episode within the production run. Eg, 3ACV10 is the 10th Futurama episode in production run 3.

Q12: Do you know the full names of the characters?
A12: Not of all, but here are some: Philip J Fry, Turanga Leela, John Zoidberg, Bender Bending Rodriguez / Bending Unit 22, Hubert J. Farnsworth, Amy Wong, Hermes Conrad and Kif Kroker.

Q13: Is Futurama released on DVD or Video yet?
A13: That depends on where you live. As of now, all seasons have been released in Europe and Australia. The US and Canada have Season 1 to Season 3 since March 9th 2004. The last set will follow in the US around Fall 2004.

Q14: Why are the DVDs released in the US the latest? Isn't Futurama an American series?
A14: It's produced in the US (with additional work in Korea), but the unique American TV market setup with networks, affiliates and syndicating channels means that the DVDs have to wait till all these entities made their fair share of money. European TV markets just aren't set up like that. There are channels buying rights to seasons and that's it.

Q15: What's better? Futurama or the Simpsons.
A15: Silly you. Futurama.
