Which Futurama episodes do you think were just filler episodes?

"Space Pilot: 3000", "Leela's Homeworld" and "The Why of Fry".  Three episodes clearly unneccessary to the plot.

Hahaha, hahahaha!
Good one, PCC.

Since it's not strictly-speaking a mythology-based show I don't really know that any could be considered filler because there's not that much to be filling-in for. I mean, you could say that all the episodes that don't deal with the brainspawn or Fry's origin or his relationship with Leela are technically 'filler', but sci-fi mytharc isn't the focal point of the show - it's a comedy, so such classifications are unfair.

If you mean to ask which episodes seem weak, then the only one that immediately comes to mind is The Honking, which I always found to be kind of lazy and generic.

I've always felt "Bender Should not be allowed on TV" was pretty unecessary, due to the fact Fry and Leela pretty much had nothing to do with the episode, I know it's a "Bender" episode, but it didn't really even seem to fit in with the rest of the show

Aw....Time Keeps on Slippin' was really good, though.
I find that Spanish Fry is strictly filler, and A Leela of her Own. Both were pretty weak episodes, too. Though SF was a bit funnier.

I always thought 'Love and Rocket' was a filler. I mean, the ship never talked in any other episodes. They obviosly just through in an episode where the ship talks, cause they needed more episodes.  :hmpf:

The ship talked in 'Bendless Love', and was implied to talk in 'How Hermes etc'. Just, it being a ship and all, it doesn't talk very much unless provoked by Bender. And Bender was being provoking pretty much all the time during 'Love and Rocket'. Although perhaps afterwards, the ship's personality was removed. Yes, of course it was.
