lol yeah there have been cases where that has happened but from personal experience I find that if you use basic safety i.e. hold the romote fairly firmly then you will have no trouble like me. I don't find the design detrimental at all and enjoy the new unique control,out of the Wii Sports I would have to say that I enjoy Tennis the most, swinging the romote like a racket is quite entertaining
