Hi,everyone.
I'm looking for the music title that is used in FUTURAMA (season 5 Ep.16 or season 4 ep.18)... (The Devil's Hands Are Idle Playthings - Somehow I couldn't find any information about the music in this episode...)

What I wanna know is

1. The very short MUSIC right before the ENDING CREDIT (when Fry plays a music just for Leela, and the images of Fry and Leela kiss each other and disappear together..I thought it sounds very like Enya's music..although it may not be true)

2. In the middle of the episode, what is the actual opera name? (I think the characters changed the lyrics of a real opera, and I've heard the original one is Pagliacci..but somehow, it doesn't sound similar

If you know only one, please just tell me one~I really want to know at least either one of them

If you don't know bothe music,

★３。Do you know the title of music that is used in <Jurassic Bark>? It's a sad piano music without a song and it is used right before the song of <Connie Francis's If it takes forever I will wait for you（at the end)>. (also used in The Luc of Fryrish right before the <Simple Minds - Don't You(at the end)>

Somehow people talk about the title of the songs, but it seems to be that nobody talks about that amazingly sad and beautiful piano music right before the songs in Jurasic bark and Fryrish.

So if anyone knows any of the music, PLEASE TELL ME the title. THANK YOU!

First off, how'd you get those cool stars in the mesage title and body?

Second, welcome to PEEL.

Third, all three of those musical pieces are original compositions of Christopher Tyng, the show's "Music by" guy. The first two are discussed at length in the "Devil's Hands" DVD audio commentary, and the third...well, I'm guessing there, actually. No operas were harmed in the making of this show. And, come on, Enya? Please.

1 and 3 likely don't have titles, being very short original pieces with no lyrics. The title of the opera is, of course, "Leela: Orphan of the Stars."

Wow, Thank you so much for your warm and nice answer!

OOps, and sorry about my mistake in Enya...haha(I really had no idea...sorry.)

Oh, indeed, I REALLY LOVE THOSE MUSICS, but it is pretty sad that it doesn't have special title. But I'm really suprised and impressed by the fact that they also created even great music with great animations!

I will try to come this site always, so that I can be BETTER FUTURAMA FAN.

Again, Thank you sooo much.

There is a website where you can download most of the Futurama music, including the entire opera but I can't remember what it is

Question answered, but thread left open because I still want to know how you got these:

★★★★★

I pasted them into notepad but all I got was that "unknown character" block.

I looked into my font files and the only true type font that has it is Wingdings2.
However, looking into the html page code of this thread shows that the HTML special character with the code 9733 ( &# 9733; / without the space ) results in said star. ★

More like Haxx0r on the interwebs. Then again probably not haxx0r at all since he used normal html code... just that no one knew it was there. :hmpf:

That surely means that 400 threads got lost in crashes or were deleted.

edit: and now the main page shows a single star as the thread name.

For me the stars appear as small sqaures.

When you posted orifginally it did that, and then when Bean! posted it went back to normal and now its gone back to one star again

Interesting also what the notification box does to the thread name:

I think it depends on the OS or even browser you are using. It surely is a Windows sign and not implemented like that into other operating systems like Linux or browsers other than IE.

I see them in Firefox on Win XP.

So does this mean we can put HTML into thread titles?
