The Secret behing Bender's Apartment Number!

In the commentary for I, Roomate on the DVD, when we first see Bender's apartment, someone (I think it's David X. Cohen) says that the biggest nerds should find out what Bender's apartment number is in ASCII. Well sir, that sounded like a challenge!! 

The number is 00100100, which is 36. In ASCII, that's $. Just a little nugget of information  .
