I know this has probably been asked before, but in 300 big boys, what is the name of the piece of music when Fry drinks his 100th cup of coffee, and everything stops moving?

thanks for any help   ;)

I don't remember realy even what kind of tone it was when he had his 300th 100th cup of coffee. I could watch it later and check. *realises fat ass is stuck in arm chair again*

The commentary says that it's original music by Christopher Tyng
So there you go. Bam!

Didn't he say he wanted the name of the music?

Yes, what i meant in this case is that, since it is composed by Chris, it's a piece of music that was composed for futurama and for that particular scene - so I highly doubt that there is a name for it at all.

Hehe, I was kidding... I just meant that the question itself wasn't "musical", meaning that it didn't have any musicality to it. Y'know, like, it wasn't a song. That's all.

ah. OK then. Now lets steal that music.

maybe if we ask steal his wife, then he will give us the music stuff.

unless he's gay, in which case we steal him.

Thats the theme for the whole show, not the slow-mo section. Also, does anyone know the techno kind of music playing when Farnsworth goes "turn that music... up"?

I don't know much about the music, but I did some research and found this:

Quote
As Fry drinks more and more coffee the effects of the caffeine make him more and more agitated until the 100th, when he relaxes into a calm Zen-like state, albeit moving at several hundred times normal speed. There are several possible science-fiction inspirations for this scene:

    * Frank Herbert's novel 'Dune', where Paul-Muad'Dib consumes ever greater quantities of Spice until he finally takes the water of life and time and space comes together. In the TV series of the same name we even see the same glowing light effects and distortions of time and space.
    * The classic sci-fi story 'The New Accelerator' by Herbert George Wells, the accelerator being a formula allowing the user to stretch minutes into hours of personal time perception.
    * The original-series 'Star Trek' episode 'Wink of an Eye'.
    * The 2002 film 'Clockstoppers'.

Perhaps the music is supposed to be reminiscent of one of these...
