The 26 eps thing could be two 13-ep seasons, if it were not A LIE!
And is it common to have 26-episode animation seasons? Seems a bit heavy going to me.
(Did you miss me? or notice I was gone :P)

Damn. I need a new avatar now - this is toooo confusing.
Also, read up, Foxxy. The 26 episodes announcements seem to have been a bit premature.

You're calling Billy West a bastard? Well, I guess considering his latest project he should've seen it coming.

I rather enjoyed the Family Guy movie last year. Before watching it, I thought the same thing: that half hour TV shows dont translate well into feature films. But I was VERY impressed with the final product. Same goes for the South Park movie, which is an example of the franchise at it's peak.
I'd say don't poo poo it until after you've seen it. I mean, it is Futurama after all...

Spotted on amazon.com: "...designed to bridge the gap between the original series and the forthcoming new series of TV adventures in 2007." It isn't official, I just thought I'd post it to piss you all off.

I just like the way they consider themselves so accurate. I'd love to believe that they were told this by someone offical, but Billy West has turned me into a cynical bastard.

Idiots like Fox, Underpaid actors who lounge about in their pants like Billy West? The bored and extremely gullible people at Amazon? Or us. The Futurama community who have been quite correctly dashing the hopes of all and sundry for some years now. We've said "that won't happen", and lo and behold... it fails to happen. Compared to anybody else, we've a hundred-percent success rate at prognostication of all Futurama related news. and who nos they might make an episode as an extra on special features. We know. They won't. That's not what goes on the special features section. Special features sections are nice and cheap: they're a bunch of deleted scenes, and Billy West laughing at Matt Groening for 30 minutes because he made a fart joke. Episodes are not cheap and cost five to six hundred thousand dollars to produce. Don't take this personally, Donny boy, but you might want to sit down and think about it before you get excited about these things. We here at PEEL, we're the ones who've been sitting down and thinking realistically for a long time now. We do know what we're talking about. And by "we", I mean Nixorbo, Teral, and a few select others. As a rough guide, don't trust popplers, curstaceans, or delivery boys. They've not been here long enough, or been shot down in flames often enough to realise that life is exceedingly cruel, and nowhere is this more evident than the cut-throat and brutal world of animated television programmes. Just look at the Transformers. Where are they now, huh? I'll tell you where they are. Optimus prime is working as a rent boy in Manhatten, and the decepticons are busy dismantiling the others in Japan to build PS3's. That's where they are now. Remember, Donald. One day the decepticons will come for you. Not because you matter, but because they just plain don't like you. Edited because for all my mighty deductive reasoning and idiot-proof logical programming, I can't spell.Donald, if you'd like further information, and also the secrets to becoming a Moderator on PEEL, please Click This Link, and all will be revealed to you.[/small]

@ Donald:
If you've been lurking for any length of time, then you know that TNUK is vastly intelligent, extremely literate and could make irritate Ghandi to the point of kneeing him in the groin.
That said, I was once a Poppler and a Delivery Boy - I'm up to Professor now and still don't know a fraction of the things that the old-timers like TNUK, Archie 2K, Winna, Teral, Nix, VF, Tweek and many others know.
Don't take things personally. Life's too short.
@ SpaceDal11 - thanks for the kudo's thrown my way.
