Well, as many of you know Futurama DVD #1 has been released in many countrys,

As said in another topic German and Spanish versions are the same (both have German and Spanish and english, etc audio/subtitles(,

but meanwhile in german is about to be released , but here in Spain FOX has delayed the DVD up to last half of May!, they have the DVD made now, (the same that in germany) why then they don`t release here at the same time that in germany?.

wow, marketing FOX expersts are great!

first they told that it will be released in 03-2002 , after they delayed it to 05-2002 , after when German version cofirmed it release in 02-2002 they again told that release date in spain would be 03-2002 and now the delayed it again to 05-2002....

Why not order in germany then ?
The german amazon ships worldwide and within EU S&H is semi ok. You'd pay around €44 and get it around mid/end february.

in Spain it will cost about 39,5€ ,

Yes, we can buy it online to Germany, that`s why i`m telling that FOX marketing sucks, when they release the DVD here in Spain all of we spanish fans can have the DVD sinze 3 months.

Maybe they didn't realize that we have the Euro now and those things are really easy ... That's one of the things the EMU was about. They will learn over time.

well this is what i think first , but is "Hispano FOX" (or FOX Spain) who controls the DVD in spain, so they should be more than informed about the Euro    :flirt:

That sounds like the same taktik Nintendo uses for it's shoddy products. The delays  put me off em altogether. Now im into to dreamcast there not half bad, shame they dont make new games for em though just old ones

actually, matt groening controls the rights to futurama, and I'm sure he's pretty pissed...but FOX is running reruns during football to supposedly save it from being cut into by football...it's a good idea, but HOW ABOUT MOVING IT BACK TO THE TIME SLOT IT STARTED WITH AND MOVE MALCOLM IN THE MIDDLE TO SOME OTHER DAY AT 8:30?!?!?!?!?!
