Now I'm to lazy to see if some one has done this thread before so here goes. While bumming around on the net I found these coll little avi's where music has been put to popular animation, the one I saw was the Polices every breath put to Tenchi Muyo. SO I was wondering what music would you put against Futurama? I was thinking about Yesterday by the Beatle's with clips of Fry and Leela and Fry's past  what do you think?

Retro music mainly, goes with the theme of the show.  Think of stuff from the 80s (as it was a retro decade), as well as stuff from 50s and 60s.

Simple minds, rush, that truckin' convoy song, beck, etc. all have been on futurama.

Hard question, maybe "Mr Cab Driver" by Lenny Kravitz.

Perhaps "I'll fly with you" by Gigi D'Agostino. It might sound better for ending credits.

You could rap Futurama around several of Daft Punk's songs I guess - or visa versa.   :)

Zap and Kif in a Space Oddity vid - definitely cool.

How about "In a (New) New York Minute" by the Eagles

'octopusses garden' fits 'the deep south' quite well...
or 'learn to fly' by the foo fighters for every sequence where the ship flies around.

Okey they did part of it in Hell is other Robots but a full version of Intergalatic by the Beastie Boys could work.  :p

Roxette "put 'em on, put 'em big boots on, baby put 'em big boots on..." that would go great with some of leela's appearances...

There's a really upbeat version of 'Intergalactic' by Beastie Boys that I think would go great with some action scenes.

Right-click and rename to .mp3 before download! (150k)

Would "My Beloved Monster" be a good Leela-themed video?

Slide Away by Oasis would go well with a Leela and Fry romance

If I had to put an Iron Maiden song in Futurama it would be Run to the Hills. It would sound cool.

You cannot tell me that this wouldn't be a great song for a Leela-themed video

My Beloved Monster
By The Eels

My beloved monster and me
we go everywhere together
wearing a raincoat that has four sleeves
gets us through all kinds of weather

she will always be the only thing
that comes between me and the awful sting
that comes from living in a world that's so damn mean

my beloved monster is tough
if she wants she will disrobe you
but if you lay her down for a kiss
her little heart it could explode

she will always be the only thing
that comes between me and the awful sting
that comes from living in a world that's so damn mean
