what's with topics getting closed?

are they considered off topic or what? I posted about the dvds being on sale, someone posted about zapp and the holodeck and someone made a poll for the comics, are these off topic in general disscussion?

Yes, the DVD and comic topics belong in the PE Stockroom, while the Zapp topic belong in Human Resource Dept.

I guess the Zapp one was closed rather than moved because there already is a gazillion Zapp topics in HR.

I suspect the same reason with the other 2, though I'm not entirely sure.

I'll just re-post it in the stockroom, I put it in general because everyone should know about it, I mean come on, less than $100 for the whole series, it's a steal
