I hope you can help me. I want to write a paper about TV shows and movies that include the plot  or at least part of it. Just like the episode of the Simpsons in which Marge and Ruth Powers drive through the country in the stolen car.
A friend of mine suggested there was an episode of Futurama too, in which the plot is copied. But she wasn't sure.
Can you help me?

the closest i can think of is in Put you head on my shoulders, when Fry and Amy drive across a planet, and break down.....

Basically, no.  There's one car-chase scene in Futurama, but that's a parody of the over-the-top urban San Francisco chases in Bendin' in the Wind.  No Thelma and Louise-style plots.

Are you writing about just "Thelma and Louise"?  If so, you could try looking the movie up on IMDB and checking "movie connections".  You'll see some examples of other movies or tv shows that have spoofed it or referenced it in some way.  It might not be entirely reliable, but you can at least use that list as a springboard and see if there's any you recognize or could see easily.

No "Futurama" spoof though.  A fairly recent Saturday Night Live sketch involved republican politiicans Tom Delay and Bill Frist flying off a cliff in a car though, in a clear reference to the film.  Don't know if that helps.
