Has anyone else noticed that the new CBS show "Courting Alex" is pretty much a rip-off of the fake show from Futurama "Single Female Lawyer"?

Just listen to the description from CBS's website: "Jenna Elfman ("Dharma & Greg" ) stars in COURTING ALEX, a comedy about an attractive, single, semi-workaholic with one simple goal: to find true love while balancing a career as a successful lawyer."

Meh, it's probably just a coincidence. Even if it wasn't, I really wouldn't care, since that show really wasn't part of 'Futurama'.

As SORF said, it's a parody.  Notice the name similarities: Ally McBeal and Jenny McNeal.

You guys are definitely right about it being a parody of Ally McBeal but you have to admit that the similarities between Single Female Lawyer and Courting Alex are funny.  I wasn't seriously trying to argue that Courting Alex was actually ripping off Single Female Lawyer.
