Well, Nannybot was only shown for like one minute or so... (The big scary-looking one that says "sleep little dumpling, I have repaced your mother" ).
Anyway, the motive is in the series. Perhaps it is a group of killers, but saying the name of only one is enough.

Yes it was them, all that crushing was done by those giant stones they catapulted, and the "metal objects" that slapped mom's sons to death were the cymbals of that monkey thing.
In case you were wondering, the final murder would have been robot 1X, and it would be revealed that as others before him he was crushed, by a rock.
So, Anonymoose, go ahead, kill someone!

edit: also, I said that nannybot was holding no baby just to ease probable controversy.
