Well as we know Futurama was cancelled in 2002 and the last airing premiere was on August 10th of 2003. Since then Futurama has been living from the merchandise and the comics. For the past months there have been hopes about a comeback as a direct to DVD movie, however it isn't only the fanbase that is waiting for it to be greenlit. Matt Groening and David X Cohen are waiting for an ok from FOX as well, so the whole process of waiting still goes on.
To summarize it: Yes there is hope, but nothing you could actually do, since it all is in the hand of FOX, and they don't care about a few opinions, letters, wishs, petitons... or whatever from a comparable small fanbase.

Don't be upset, but you can be assure that this thread is going to be closed. Simply because we already had so many of these "Will it return" threads already. It's just that redundant threads will be closed.
That is also why you have to search every time before you want to start a new one. It's just that most topics have been started to discuss, and your idea won't have a big chance to survive anyhow in case there is already an existing thread opened for it.
