I know every other Futurama fan has to be as angry as I am about the treatment it has received from Fox.  Most of the time, we don't get to see it in the Northeast Ohio area and tonight we missed the first act.  My question is has anyone else written to Fox either by letter or e-mail about this?  I wrote an angry email and never received a response.  I think fans need to express their frustrations with FOX in mass.  Otherwise, it will suffer in it's poor time slot or worse.  Anybody else mad?

Futurama is the 21st Centuries Answer To The '60 Heidi Incident.  The weekly saga on whether football will run long and preempt it.  If you ask me Fox should have just run football filler coverage to 7:30 than discrace Futurama by Joining In Progress.

On the other hand, maybe Futurama's ratings would have been better than Football and if so great!

I think it would be doing much better ratings wise had it been left on tuesday.  Imagine that, we could actually count on seeing it EVERY week.

Writing to FOX is a good idea .  However, I'd suggest sending a letter (at least, here in the U.S.)rather than an email.  Address it to the head of the company (anyone have the name and address of the president of FOX?) Old-fashioned snailmail seems to have a greater impact.

Also, getting angry isn't going to help.  Nastygrams always get discarded unread.  You should always maintain a professional and polite attitude.  Tell them how much you enjoy the show.  Thank them for including it in their lineup.  Then explain your complaint.

My biggest gripe is that FOX is hyping that 80's show too much. Man, it better be a really good show or else.  I even see it advertised in billboards and malls.

Yeah, here in Chicago, the first act usually gets cut because of football. C'mon, I wouldn't mind if the show started late at 6:15 or 6:30 but please DON'T cut to the middle! I was dismayed to see that commercials followed directly after the opening credits, which means that the episode's already in progress. Normally, they go straight to act one.

Well said Dr_Dave.  I get to (occasionally) see Futureama from the Buffalo NY Fox affiliate, when they don't pre-empt with football.  They seldom bother to cut to Futerama after it has started, they just show sports filler until the half hour is up.  I would love to see Fox move Futurama to a better time slot, but yelling at them won't get me my wish.
