Olympus Mons, the largest volcano in the Solar System rises 21 kilometers high and measures 600 km across.  By comparison Earths largest volcano, Mauna Loa in Hawaii rises 9 km high and measures 120 km across.

Um, owing to bandwith concerns, and other Internet issues I'm not up-to-speed on, you might want to put these all in the same thread. Also, the mod's tend to take a dim view of 'spammy' threads.
