Has anyone seen that movie, "Idle Hands" with Devon Sawa and Seth Green?  It's a movie about a ne'er-do-well teenager who's hands are possessed. 

Is this where the idea for the last episode, "Devil Hands Are Idol Playthings" came from, maybe?  Because Fry had the hands of the Robot Devil.  That's what made me think of this.

More like it (both the title of the movie and the title of the episode) came from the common saying "Idle hands are the devil's playthings" or "Idle hands are Satan's workshop" or many of the other variants.  They aren't related to each other in any other way, except maybe the love story.

I saw that movie when it came out just for The Offspring. But like Zoidberg said, they came from the saying.
