Forgive me if this is considered spam. But I'd like to point out that today is aug. 10 2005. If I know my stuff that makes it two years to the day since the last ep. aired in the u.s. Comments?

This is a pretty notable day, although for me, it's for a death non-Futurama related.

The last episode hasn't even aired on Australian TV yet... unless it aired on pay tv which it probably did, but I don't have pay tv... so I guess Futurama hasn't really ended officially yet to me, especially considering I haven't watched the last episode at all (I have the choice to watch the dvd, but I won't do it damnit! I'm too stubborn).

^ditto for the UK.

And I'd watch the watch the dvd if I were you.. it's very likely that you'll hit a spoiler for it on this site.

I already have the gist of the last episode thanks to spoilers, ie there is an opera or something, and the robot devil changes hands with Fry I think. Anyway, I did decide to watch Spanish Fry(which hasn't aired either) after I starting posting here because little things kept getting said which spoiled it slightly.

Let us all do our best to "encourage" F*x to green-light the movie(s)...

And renewing the series...

With lots of promotion...

For another six-thousand years...

I'm mad at Fox, but, I must remember, if it wasn't for Fox, we wouldn't have even seen Futurama and PEEL wouldn't exist.

I always hate how fox favors crap shows over good ones.  Futurama's timeslot was taken over by the piece of sh*t show Olive Bean, which didn't even last a full season.  Also, Family Guy, although noway as good as futurama, was cancelled to make way for Greg the Bunny and Andy Richter controls the universe, which both also lasted less than a season

[solemn silence]

Australia and the UK haven't seen all the episodes on t.v. yet?  Why?  Did it get canceled there before the last ones aired? How many have not been shown there?

No idea but (UK) I know Sky have shown "Obsoletely Fabulous" within the past couple of weeks, so it's not unreasonable to expect that they've already screened the final episode. However, I only have Freeview so I can't confirm that.
