I just want to point out that Bender no longer is 4 years old, he is now 1057 years old due to the story in the latest episode....

You didn't see Roswell that Ends Well. Bender's head is over 1000 years old. The rest of him is 4 or so.

Yep, Enis ate his brain. His entire body also got crushed in 'Raging Bender', destroying any circuits he might have had back at the time, too.

We've got to accept that Bender's consciousness is in the metal itself; maybe his body's composed of millions of very-tiny computers like a ODN network, connecting themselves via subspace, thus allowing him to operate every millimeter of his no-matter-how-much-damaged body remotely. The circuits in his body and head are only there 'cos they look pretty...

Could very well be true, he does have a cassette-recorder in there, that's most definately old.  When we saw his assembly in Bendless Love, his head was just popped on.
