Yeah, it is kinda vague. OK, some clues.

The first three parts refer to specific episodes and they're all quotes. The fourth is just a word.

DrT's got the third and fourth parts, but not the second.

OK, does that help at all?

Hmmm, I'm pretty sure SORF is far from correct, but even then, I can't match "into the sun" with any quoted locations from "Farnsworth Parabox" or "That's Lobstertainment!"  Maybe someone else will have better luck.

That's exactly where I was stuck.  I can't think of anything in AToF that even starts with "card" or any syllables from odd pronunciations.

I kind of cheated there I guess; I didn't realize that the terms had to have whole syllables in common.  You both are correct, but I suppose I didn't quite get this.

Being lazy is cool or shifting the burden is cool?  Okay, I guess they're both pretty cool.

An extraterrestrial lizard of extrordinary size's crime against the Constitution + Bender's apparen new role at the bureau of bureaus + Leela goes this way after Fry's impassioned defense involving bovine beefiness fails + Your basic human comprises this.

Wow, this thread still exists?

The clues separated by the plus signs should suggest a word or phrase.  Each of the suggested words or phrases must have a syllable or word in common with the suggested word or phrase adjacent to it.

For example, the first clue is meant to suggest "chewing the corners off," citing the line in AToF, "In State Of Alabama vs. Giant Space Iguana, chewing the corners off the Constitution was deemed non-protected speech."

In the next clue, "apparen" is supposed to be "apparent."  More relevantly, the bureaucrat outside of the Central Bureaucracy says of Bender, "Looks like we've got a new office cut-up," in HHRHGB.  Since the clue already states "new," the suggested phrase would be "office cut-up."

Now adding the two together we see that "chewing the corners off" and "office cut-up" have a common syllable at their adjacent ends.  This gives us, "chewing the corner (off)ifce cut-up..."

Enjoy the game.  It really is quite cool.  As for the rest of you: I've already half-solved this puzzle!  Let's keep it going!

Chewing the corners (off)ice cut-(up)-side Fry's (hair)y, oily goo wrapped in a t-shirt!

Yay!

I'm bringing this game back to life again, assuming DrT is around to verify this answer.  I think we have enough intelligent people to play again...?
