Originally posted by Teral: OTOH, I like the big part of the episodes to end on a humorous note, ala "The Deep South", "Why Must I be...", "Loves Labour...", etc. My personal all-time favorite is 2ACV01 "I Second That Emotion", followed closely by 2ACV05 "Why Must I be a Crustacean in Love" and 1ACV12 "When Aliens Attack". I pretty much prefer the hilarious episodes to the emotional ones... And I hate that part were Bender makes that lovely cake and Nibbler swallows it in 2.5 seconds. I would flush Nibbler down the toilet to. Better start a new thread BC...The {Random} Thought Police is gonna bust ya.

Well it's just over a week until you lucky Americans get to see "Anthology of Interest II". As it's nearly time for it to air I'm wondering if anyone knows yet wether the part with Frys life becoming a video game will be 3D or not? Anyone got any promo shots or preview shots yet? If not then will anyone be likely to get any before it airs, I'm looking in [-mArc's-] general direction...

I was once again looking down at the list of season 4 spoilers and when I looked at the description for "Crimes of the Hot" it talks about global warming taking a turn for the worst, but in the episode "Xmas Story" Leela says that global warming was prevented by a nuclear winter. Heres the description: 4ACV08: Crimes of the Hot The Earth faces a global warming crisis. From David X. Cohen's Sci-Fi Weekly interview: "We're having Al Gore back on the show [...] he will be hosting the Global Warming Conference of the Earth 3003 when global warming takes a sudden turn for the worse. It's about the year 3002 roughly, and so they have to take action, of course, and they rescue our periodic guest star, Al Gore"

I remember that ep. I drew thousands & thousands of robots. Each night I wake up screaming! Nobody "rescues Al Gore". What was that about?

Also the fact that in the episdoe description it mentions being in the year 2002/2003 suggesting that every year of Futurama made adds a year of age to the cast, unlike The Simpsons. This means that if Futurama continues to be made for about 10 years, then Professor Farnsworth will have to be taken away again because everyone will think he's 160 when really he would be 170. He wouldn't be able to get out of this time. It also means that if Kif has a baby, then we will see it grow up over the years, that would be cool.

I'm only going by what I know, Matt Groening said that Futurama is more realistic than The Simpsons which means age might play a part. Thinking about it, aging wouldn't be too good, but instead it would be nice if they went foward into time through a time machine and we could see Kifs offsping that way. On a different subject, there is a season 4 episode called "The Why Of Fry" which is about the niblonians again. From the title I guess that this episode will explain why Fry is resistant to the evil brains, what do you think? 4ACV10: The Why of Fry Fry helps the Niblonians save the universe again

Anyways, global warming can happen again. And Leela was talking about a past event in that one case.
