Hey dr. bender nye, what's your opinion on this subbject -- how much is futurama worth to you?
I'm just curious, damb it!

Oh your god, top of the page -- are you kidding me?! Ha, in your face, dr. bender nye!

Also, I think the good dr. has coined the official PEEL curse word: damb it!

LiC, established 1987. I'll be 18 next month.

By the way, I don't understand the purpose of this poll...at all.

I never knew Futurama Nerd was 13, because she doesn't act like it. Some other PEELers, you can tell. The immaturity just leaks through the computer screen. Of course, I know some 18 year olds who act the same way.

^Yeah, a lot or most of the PEELers don't know my age, the only one who knows my age that I know is Zmithy, Spacedal and Y_L_B.

It's well, not good. I'm sorry, but since we're on the subject I had to do it   :p
And I was actually gotta edit my post and put in well, but I said the hell with it    :p But yes, I am 13. Can I join the club now? No? Nah, I always liked the older PEELers anyway.

Just so I know, how old did everyone think I was?

I thought you were in your teens. I'm in my teens. I'm 13! There's a good amount of almost 13/13/almost 14 year olds on PEEL. Good for variety purposes to have more age groups.

I'm 17. (If that counts for anything.) Although there are people who claim to be 20 here, but you can never be too sure.

I'm 18, but first started going to internet forums when I was about 13.  And I must say from past experiences of forumgoers, that most of the people around here who are 13-14 seem to be way more mature than the average... I remember sometimes acting very dumb at that age.

I remember that I never added spaces after periods and commas.  I would cringe and slap myself for that now.    :puke:

FN: I never actually wondered how old you were although looking back, I'd probably put you at about 15.
I only found out when TL posted your age... after Nurdbot hit on you   :laff:.

EDIT:

Agreed, but I think it's the high quality of these forums that raises the bar and makes sure that the typical annoying internet troll doesn't last long. It may be elitist, and lead to PEEL's demise without many good newcomers (such as yourself), but it's working fine for now.

Definately not.

But that's what you get for chipping into a sex thread just as the discussion goes asian.

You know, I started something really off topic here. Is there an "Age" thread where all this should go, since this thing is only keeping this thread up? Maybe, if there isn't one, we could make one in the Offtopic section.

The Birthday thread pretty much has all the ages of most PEELers listed if you want to know. Just click on the nice link provided by GFF.

As for an age thread, I did a search, but after 2003 I got bored. You can try posting one, though. If it has been done, the worst that can happen is you'll be flamed.

There is an "How old are you?" thread, it's pretty old, though.

But, eh, whatever.

And for what it's worth, age is never an excuse. Not only am I twelve, English is my second language. I seem to get along fine.

Off-topic threads aren't that bad. If you're that scared of 'awkward stuff', just don't go in the relationship or the "Who would you most like to f***?" thread, for obvious reasons.

dr. nye, you never answered my question! Since you were the author of this thread (which has meandered drastically, people!), the PEEL community wants to know: how much is futurama worth to you -- you personally, dr. bender nye, how much is it worth?
Just curious.

Oh come on! Family Guy's not so bad. King Of The Hill is worse. FG be worth more with it re-airing soon.

That's right, I said King Of The Hill sucks!!   :evillaugh:

edit: The 60% of you who voted "worth more than asshole FOX", grow up. FOX is being a real bitch when it comes to our show; we all know it. But it's not possible for any show, even Futurama, to have a higher financial value than an entire television network!!!

Yeah, there's a fundamental vagueness to this topic -- dr. b. n., are we talking monetary worth here or some kind of esoteric value, you know, one of those, "the good of the one outweighs the good of the many" things.
Please explain.
