OK, so I bought a MAD Magazine that was poking fun at the movie "Robots" I figured a MAD Parody of Robots would have Bender, and boy, was I right...

There was a part called "Metal Eye For The Mortal Guy" Where it was making fun of Queer Eye for the Straght Guy. The transformed Astroy bot (human) to a robot. all the famous robots were there, R2-D2, C3PO, you know, all the goodrobots, among them, BENDER!

(I wish I could find it so I could scan the 2 pages as soon as i can find it, I'll scan the pages)

Where else have you seen the Futurama cast in MAD?

Even though its not related, in Simpsons Comics #100, Bender appears hawking Futurama comics to kids in a Sergio Arragones[ap?] spreadsheet. There is also a Futurama comics #1 in a cave (Don't ask)

There was the time they ran the article about the future, entirely based on Futurama.

Do you mean Astro Boy?  If so, that's ironic, because Astro Boy was a robot who wanted to be human.

Yes I did, the joke is they change a human into a robot.

Oh...your...god. This is so cool. Finally, Bender is noticed among the ranks of R2-D2 and C-3PO. Although he might not be equal.

Bender kicks those gay robots from Star Wars shiney metal asses.

I don't read comic books. Maybe I should start.

Attack of the emoticons... I'm not sure what  the tone of that post is, but yes, maybe I should shoot up on some drugs.  I could swear time just went backwards by about an hour. Or maybe daylight savings just ended, I must look into that.

Nah, I think that Daylight Savings Time is in a week or so. But anyway, I always love it when Futurama is mentioned in a sci-fi spoof. (Which is ironic, seeing as many view Futurama as a sci-fi spoof in itself...) And also Astro Boy rocks face. Just thought I'd add that.  ;)

Actually, Bender actually was ranked the number #2 robot of all time in a recent poll, I'll try to find it.

Edit:
Or number 3. But I thought it was different then this article. Oh well, if you want to the link, here it is

Edit 2: Huzzah! After some searching, I found the poll with Bender listed 2nd!

This has nothing to do with MAD magazine but I was looking in one of those Disney Adventures Books, and I saw they had rated five Robots. And they had Bender in it! But they only rated him 2 out of 5! That's an outrage!!

Yeah, I saw that too. Also TIME for Kids named Bender the second best robot out of five.

Wow. I'm 13(14 in November!) and I think that's amazing that more kid oriented magazines are paying attention to Bender, a robot that smokes cigars and drinks to keep running. Kinda amazing.

Wow. I'm surprised I didn't see the Disney Adventures one. I don't buy it anymore, seeing as I'm now 15 (16 in October, for the record) but I always read them in checkout lines. Pretty thoroughly, too. Does anyone know which issue it was?

T-Veronica, it's out now in Australia. It's the April 2005 issue. (My Birthday!!) I ended up buying it.
If you want a description of the cover, it's got Spongebob at the top, Piper and Rodney Copperbottom in the middle, Sonic to the right, and Bart and 50 cent on the bottom.

No, you were simply experiencing chronoton-induced time skips...in reverse. Yeah. So, anyway...thanx for tellin' me about the DA magazine, JDB. I was worried it was an old issue, in which case I sure as hell wasn't going to attempt to get it. Been through far too much hell trying to get the Nick magazine w/ the Futurama cover. Never. Again. EVER! >_<;; (eBay can be a truly scary place sometimes...)
