Dr. Pepper owns 7 Up.

Whale biologist Texan.

TOTP Two-step.

For those of you who don't get it, Dr. Pepper is headquartered in Texas...Waco, I believe, or possibly Dublin.

Yeah... Dr. Pepper is way better than 7-up...  However Mountain Dew is easily a competitive rival... luckily one's a cola and the others an uncola...

Dr. Pepper isn't really a cola. It's more of a, uh, soda, like Mr. Pibb or Pibb Extreme or whatever it is.

LOL! Birds an Birds... that's perverse!

I wonder if bird would like slurm too...

Slurm seems to have the consistancy of bird shi-

....and sometimes the color too...

I can't remember where I heard this but Mountain Dew supposedly lowers sperm count.  It has one ingredient in it that does, but i can't remember it, but ill find it and get back to ya.

Actually, check out what Snopes had to say about that, Btb.

Back to Slurm, I always pictured it as tasting like Vanilla Pepsi, except sludge green and with a higher viscosity.

I've always thought Slurm would taste like Mountain Dew mixed with slime.

Plug it in, it makes sense... in an ecks sorta way...

I always wanted to see an episode where they go back to that slurm planet to deliver a package of secrete ingredients to the new slerm quene ... a man can drem...

Ah, but then it wouldn't be Slurm. Remember, Slurm is worm crap and nothing more, so there would be no need to deliver any secret ingredients.

Don't you ever say or think that again!!!!! Coke is carmely and raw, while Pepsi tastes like you're licking a cola-flavored sugar cube.

I have a thought. Could Slurm not actually thicker in consistency than most sodas? Think about it...most other liquids, including water, look thicker in the show when animated. Except FatSF, that was undoubtably thick....ugh, I need to wash my brain out!

Actually when Fry dipped his head in the tub of higly concentrated slurm i thought it looked more liquidy.

Maybe highly concentrated Slurm is liquid, and not as highly concentrated Slurm is thicker.

no I think it's just as thick as regular soda... the artists just draw liquids thick for some reason... I can't believe we are having a conversation about how thick slurm is...

Ah, but the water in the Futurama universe seems to be of realistic viscosity (that's the fancy word for this "thickness" you speak of), and re-watching Fry and the Slurm Factory, Slurm most definately does not. It may be me and my bias towards the probable resistance of worm-juice to flow, but there might be something to it.

A more accurate theory is that we are looking way too far into this.

That's too bad; I thought we were making a breakthrough.  :D

I guess the main point is: there is no main point. We have got to be the coolest people on the planet for talking about what a imaginary beverage that originates from a space worm's bowels tastes like. I am proud.

PEEL is all about looking too far into things and picking out every little animation glitch and minor plot hole the poor Futurama staff made. It's just what sad and pathetic nerds (such as ourselves) do.

Y_L_B said it well. PEEL.com-because sometimes your friends don't invite you to go.

Anyways, I'd say more of a Mountain Dew/Sprite Remix: Berry Clear with the viscosity of slightly watered down chocolate syrup. I say the Berry Clear because of the fact the Slurm Queen ate Wunka Berries(or something of that nature.)

I always imagined Slurm to be like maple syprup, except a little less sugary.  But still sugary enough that you'd get sick after drinking a few cans of it.

It has to be thicker than regular soda, going by the sound of it coming out of her ass. Sounds like squirting mustard - PPPPTTTT...PPPPTTTT...

If it were like water, it'll be more like piss hitting a can. (Not that it'll make it more palatable).

As near as I can tell, it tastes like a cross between root beer and ...something else.  I'm not sure what that something else is, though.  I think that I figured out what it was once, but now I can't remember.

I always figured Slurm to be a cross between sludge, mountain dew and crack. After all, it's highly addictive

My thought that it was a mix between Mountain Dew (the green-ness and a slight mixed-citrus flavor) and Sprite syrup. Thick, SWEET, and slightly tart.

Drinking about 6oz of that Sprite syrup made me physically ill. And I am not one that shies away from sweet.

I've got it! Mountain Dew draft!

Ballsier texture, low or no carbonation, plus the freshness of being squirted out of a hole...tap hole, that is.
