Bart brought Bender to Show and Tell once on the show.
Or something like that.
Farnsworth invented Bender.

farnsworth did't CREATE bender though as he invented robots about 70 years before bender was made as bender is only 4.

although they could do an episode where homer has to go to roswell new mexico, and while bart and lisa are using a metal detector they could find bender's head

In Futurama, The Simpsons is a TV show. See A Big Piece of Garbage, while they're on the garbage ball, and a few other places)

In The Simpsons, Futurama is a TV show.  See the pimply-faced teen in the first scene of Fraudcast News, Bart's hallucination in Bart vs. Lisa vs. the Third Grade, and many other places.

Basically, they're universes are mutually exclusive.  Bender does not actually exist in The Simpsons, and Prof. Frink does not actually exist in Futurama.
