Does anyone know the notes to the Futurama theme song or has sheet music? I want to play it on piano.

I've also tried to find that online, but the only thing I've come across is this. It only has the beginning though, you'll have to pay for the entire piece.
I've printed out and tried the beginning, it's quite neat. But you can also listen to it on the site.

The theme isn't that complicated. I'm sure you could just sound it out...

That's how I learned it, by sounding it out. Like SlackJawedMoron said, it's pretty easy to figure out, so I won't post it anymore. Plus I'm really bad at writing notes or whatever.

I've only got the guitar tab for it.  I think I got it off of CGEF.  If you like I can try and transpose it to notes on a staff so anyone can play it.  (This also gives me the excuse to do it and try it out on my new alto sax!)  :laff:

Well my friend, I play the Futurama theme in my band. So I'm pretty "qualified" to tell you.

This is the chord progression my band uses on the song:
F# B E A
F# B E A Ab
F# B E A Ab
F# B Bb C#
A Ab F#.

Those are the chords we use, I don't really elaborate much on the piano part, since our version is very guitar-heavy. As far as I know, there is no sheet music, and I came up with that chord progression just by messing around.

If it's actual notes you are looking for, I've taken the guitar tab (courtesy of CGEF) and here's the actual notes (based on that tab):
EE AA DD EE EE AA DD GG F# EE AG DD F#E EE AG# BB GG F#F#
On side note, I forgot that the sax was in the key of Eb so this won't give me the exact thing I'm looking for but oh well!  :laff:

I've played it a number of times just sounding it out and then playing it.  Its not really too difficult to figure out, since its pretty simple with only a few real notes used over and over (not an insult of course; its one of my most beloved themes and one that just gets you excited to watch the show everytime).  I haven't even played piano in years and years either, though granted I'm around them quite a bit (my parents are both music teachers and we have a piano studio in the house).  Simpsons theme is a bitch though, at least to get it just right.  So fast with notes skipping around so quickly.

yeah, like DoTheBartman said, it's not actually that many notes. I figured it out on my guitar and for me it's only like 5 chords.

yup.. everytime i play it as melody and especially as chords i want to watch the show.  easy stuff you'll have no problem mastering in a few minutes.  some vibrato at the end of the melody gives it some emotion.

(after main theme)

E-----------------------------------------------
A-----------------------------------------------
D-----------------------------------------------
G-----------------------------------------------
B-7-7-----5-5-----7-7-----5-5-----------7-7-----
e-----7-7-----5-5-----7-7-----(p)-5-5-4-----7-6-

the added ending looks something like that if memory serves.  it goes on a bit but it's hard to type tabs with this tiny field box.

edit - sorry, crap, class!

Er, I can't play the piano.  :( I play the violin, and I'm just wondering, for the parts with chords, could you just use the highest note instead? 'Cause it's really hard to play that many notes at one time on a violin. Pretty much impossible, in fact. I searched on the web for the violin sheet music, but couldn't find it. But it's no big deal. Like it was stated earlier, it's pretty easy to sound out. It's just nice to know the exact notes, just in case. >_>

Or I could send it to e-mail it to someone else who can post it on here. (I can't quite get my head around the whole image thing here)
