Well, the rerun is scheduled for this Sunday for some time zones.

I personally like that one very much. The triple story makes it interesting and helps people with short attention spans (  :D). My run down on the three would be:
1. Leelas killing spree
2. Bender being huge
3. What if not frozen.

Wonder if they show Zoidberg and Bender rampaging through new New York ...

Favourite scenes/lines (correct me here if you need to   :p):

"You are in a sophisticated transportation device" - "A school bus!"

The whole case solving scene, classic.

Benders "honk honk" and then "Wow, sporty gokart Leela, so hip and sexy, not like you at all"

Brilliant episode, sorry for not being very descriptive but I find CGEF is the best place for episode reviewing.

The idea for the episode is great, and the final result, excellent. Futurama needed some of those "Crazy episodes" like the Treehouse of Horror. The "What if" machine was perfect to make the stories make sense. I want more!!

Teral's waaaaaay to long (sort of) review of "Anthology of Interest I"

I liked this very much, easily in top-10 (of the episodes so far). I hope this is gonna be a recurring thing just like THOH on Simpsons. The wacky stories was just hillarious to watch. And the little twist at the end, with the professor LOL.

My personal fave of the stories was "What if Leela was more impulsive, just a little, not too much ?" Leela just looks so cute throughout this story.    Great idea with her going on a killing spree. Starting with just one impulsive act, and then it snowballs on her. Loved the way she took care of Bender, when the timer "pings" he's done, LOL. Good way to hide the corpse too. And she finally got an opportunity to get back at Amy after another wisecrack from her. "Wow, sporty gocart Leela. So hip and sexy, not like you at all." Okay this time time she was asking for it.    :evillaugh: The scene where she wacks Cubert, Scruffy and Nibler was pure genius, but Leela doesn't wear socks? Eeewww. The last scene must be a alltime fave for all the Fry/Leela fanatics out there. Zoidberg was the only other to have a major part in this, and he was pure fun. True Zoidy behaviour. Loved it.

Second best, "What if Bender was 500 feet tall ?" Good idea. Slow start, although it was deeply satisfying to see Hanson get squashed (and yes that disturbs me too   ;)). But once Zoidy comes into the story, it catapults into the highest layer of comedy. Especially Zoidy's personal vendetta against, among others Chase Manhattan and the Apollo Theater, was fun. Great fightscene, and good weapons. Boiling Zoidy, great twist. But in the end Zoidy saves the day, "Hurray for Zoidberg".

Third best, "What if Fry never fell into the freezer-doodle and came to the future-jiggy ?" Also a good idea. But the funniness first started when Prof. Hawking came into it. The whole idea with the Vice-Presidential Action Rangers was also a struck of genius, and a weird ensemble. Hawking hawking all ideas was just hillarious: "I call it a Hawking-hole", "I call it a Hawking-chamber" etc. Great qoutes in this one too. And the ending, oh I loved that, espicially Nichole's remarks about the Pasadena Star Trek Convention.

Short comments: I like Leela's new boots, that stripe IS crazy. Hawking has a very good sense of humour. Zoidy's lines in the Leela-story was brilliant. (see more in the quotes thread in a little while). Oh, and Leela    was just sooo cute in her story, wait-a-minute....I've already said that, d'oh.

Me like, very much. More of this. Good stories, zany action, good twists, it had it all. I'll definately call this a 10, easily. Let's hope they can keep it up in (hopefully) future AOI's.

And yes, I even laughed when Amy was killed.

I think it was a pretty good episode but not one of my favourites. For me the "Leela-plot" was too long an predictable. I guess those 20 minutes are also too short to devellop more than one stoy-line. There were some pretty good jokes but I don't see Al Gores comical talent (duuhhhh!) in that one. He just read his lines in a nver-changing voice and mood. But if there was another what-if-machine-episode, I'd like to kow what happened if Hermes won the limbocontest at the Olympics and what happened if Zoidberg were a highly-paid plastical surgeon for 30est Century celebs.

Well, AoI is by far my favorite episode! It is fun from start to finish.. oh I don't want to make this too long here, just some of my fav. quotes:

"So now Zoidberg is big ha? That's more like it! Who's intimidating who now, big city?" (by far the best quote ever!!!)
"Tell it to the claw!"
"I'm a 10th level vice-president."

I am really looking forward to a possible AoI2 !!

For those of you who have the episode on VCR: Watch it with big speakers and/or subwoofer! On a normal TV-set you can't hear the deep bass sound. I tried with my 2x90W speakers, and the sound of giant bender and giant zoidberg rampaging the city is great! Just like the "BOOOM... BOOOM... BOOOM!"-part of Jurassic Park...

It means "a collection of literary pieces", such as poems, music and short stories. Dictionary.com.

And, yes, the AOI's was supposed to be the THOH's of Futurama.

Splendid! Superb! I laughed 'till I cried! I actually want to see more of detective Zoidberg (he had a brief revival in Crimes of the Hot, and that was great to). And yes, the Leela killing spree one is the greatest ever... but it didn't end with the awesome narrator guy! Nooo! Ah well, I have nothing more to say but; "Who's intimidating who now, big city?"  :laff:
