I heard someone's cell phone ring today, and the tone was "Für Elise", and it sounded (at least to me) to have almost the exact same timbre of a holophoner (specifically, since holophoners can have multiple timbre, of the scene where Fry plays it for Mrs. Mellinger after he received the Devil's hands).

TOTP barrel jump.

I was in Eugene, Oregon last week and I saw a bum. He made me so happy that I actually gave him my spare change.

You know what I just noticed? Costco has the same kind of tubing system as in "How Hermese Requisitioned his Groove Back". It felt surreal, like I was in a Futurama episode...the girl put the container with the paper in it at the opening of the hollow tubing, and then you heard a suctioning noise for a minute as it traveled up the tubes in the front of the store

That tubing system is quite old. It went out when the fax came in.

I heard "Be Happy" & "The Hustle" one after the other at a restaraunt the other day. And my cousins made me sing the "grunka -lunka" song the other day because they heard it and love it. Two more fans on the way!

Whenever I have to do some intense thinking, i always say Zapp's now immortal quote

"If we hit that bullseye, the rest of the dominoes will fall like a house of cards,
checkmate."

b/c of Futurama, peaceful veggie hippies make me thiking of aliens eating them.

or whenever something really wierd happens, i explain it by talking in the voice from the scary door.

Really Embarrassing story:

8th grade, ss teacher talking bout something being dirty. I immediately imitate morgan cropters dirty dirty dirty really loud.

silence

then laughter.

no one got it, cropter just came out of my mind.
8th grade was a bad year after that.

one day in school my teacher was talking about that only 56 people turned in paper that was due, and I auto-matically thought of Roberto and his rant about the number 56

"56! 56! Now that's all I can think of, I'm going to kill you! You lousey 56er!"

Looks like a red "X" to me.

A few weeks ago, I heard a tune on the radio by a jazz group called Bonerama.  It was a trombone group, before you get any perverted ideas.

I stumbled across a really good Futurama reference today. It's at Engrish.com: http://engrish.com/recent_detail.php?imagename=terminating-machine.jpg&date=2005-10-20

An early model suicide booth?!

Suicide Booth: "Please select mode of death. Quick and painless or slow and horrible."
Fry: "Yeah, I'd like to place a collect call?"
Suicide Booth: "You have selected slow and horrible."
Bender: "Great choice!"
...
Suicide Booth: "You are now dead. Thank you for using Stop'n'Drop. America's favorite suicide booth since 2008."

2008 isn't that far away!

I was in Algebra 2, and my teacher was trying to guess my middle name.  I t starts with a T, and he said Thornberg, and I thought of Zoidberg, and I also decided to use it as my username.

Whenever someone says 'Nixon' or 'global warming', I start laughing for seemingly no apparent reason. Unfortunetly, I'm doing a report for school about global warming, and the person I'm working with looks at me strangely evert time I giggle and say 'gobo wapo' every five minuets.

i was playing the popular  video game,Ratchet and Clank, and i could have sworn that one of the characters (quirk) was played by Maurice Lamarche. it had the same kind of tone that he puts in all of his charactors, such as calculon and the annoucer he does. but i looked it up and the results were negative. anyone got a more boring story?

I spent the weekend at the national radio observatory trying to map the spiral arms of the milky way with the 40 foot radio telescope.  All I could think of was that episode where the monks are using the giant radio telescope to find god.  (I didnt find him either sadly)

i thought id share this with everyone.
i was watching Family guy and in the beginig credits i saw 2 names i reconized from futurama.
one was David Goodman, who u may remember from WHere no fan has gone before, he wrote it.
and the other was Michael Rowe. who i think was a writer on futurmama.
they are now both producers on family guy.

and i just saw an american dad last night, and i saw the 2 names, Ron Hugart (director on futurama) , and Dan Vebber (Writer) appear in the beginning credits

Not so much a "reminder" but, I was flipping through the tv topics, and for everyday it has a "what to watch" section.  Just looked through this weeks, and they listed Futurama  :)
