That's so sad!
*SquarePupils wants to be popular and joins in crying*
Also, everytime someone mentions wanting to be popular I'm reminded of Fry and the Slurm Factory, when Fry jumps into the fake slurm and Leela saves him:

Leela: why did you jump in, Bender?
Bender: Everybody was doing it, I just wanted to be popular

Edit: TOTPD!
(this reminds me of my first post, which was on the top of a page.  I thought that I had done something wrong because my post was all alone...)

Yancey County's Representive in the state legislature is Phillip Fry.  So that makes me think of Futurama because besides the obvious Yancey is Fry's brother's name.

*ahem* It's "Yancy".

I was at an arcade-y type place at a resturant today, and some little kid kept on bugging his mother for "a milion allowances of quarters" to play the games. Oh, how it amused me...

I went in Hot Topic the other day and Simpsons and Family Guy stuff, I thought why there isn't any Futurama stuff.\

And I saw Robots. After the Darth Vader joke, I was thinking maybe the next voice will be Bender.

I know it's "Yancy" without an e but it is pronounced the same.

That is so cool.

This is stupid, but yesterday I saw a tire on a stump grinder that had treads shaped like the ninth character in Alien Alphabet Two. Swear to God, I thought that immediately.

A Two Parter!:

I got a dollar today from my gym teacher because I knew who sang Safety Dance(Men Without Hats)(From Futurestock).

Then, I payed that gym teacher that dollar to go back outside. The Zoidberg in The Devil's Hands part is that there was only 1 minute left in gym. I finally became a bad consumer!

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I was just typing my name and I slipped on the keyboard and spelled Fry.
Went to TMBG's website today to get some free MP3s, and their MP3 page had a somewhat charicaturish drawing of Nixon on it, saying "Here are your MP3s, hippie!
In fact, here it is!
Recently saw a commercial for bottled water Bud Light.  It featured a robot that was supposedly powered by Bud Light, much like Bender would have been in college.
Of course, the Bud Light bot was just a midget in a metallic facsimile of a robot looking for booze, bust deep in his electronic heart, is that not what Bender is as well?
Today when i got to work i was sitting in my car letting it idle so i could keep the air conditioning on. Then my car overheated and started smoking so i had to turn it off. When i got out of my car to examine i saw that my car was gushing out antifreeze. All i could think was:
"Sir, are you aware that you're leaking coolant at an alarming rate?"
That's rich! You're a bigger Futurama nerd than I am!
(And that's saying something)
I was in the market this morning and what snippet of song should I hear playing but:
"The landlord says your rent is late, He might have to litigate..."
It took me half an hour to get the silly grin off of my face...  :D
I still looked silly though...
There is a ep. of the simpsons where someone calls homer a monkey and he says "monkeys can cry, too" and I couldn't help but yell out "no they can't, it's all the hat!"
I'm in LA right now, and everytime we go out, I sooooo wanna go visit the FOX building. So, we drove pass. But I still wanna go down in there and complain....
Oh, and that same day we went to a resturant where the salad I was eating had anchovies mixed in with the dressing. I was thinking of throwing the salad at the FOX window, but I finished the salad  :(
Also, there was this site on the internet called Rocketman Graphics, which had a logo exactly like Futurama for the word Rocketman, and it even had a Futurama-like-style rocket going through the 'o' (I noticed it because my teacher had a shirt with the logo). I visited the site and saw the logo, but I didn't save it and the site is now no longer online.  :(
I'm sure it was the highlight of your day, eh?
*Sigh* Good ol' Futurama
And, so long as I'm here, I guess I'll mention that I was talking to someone the other day, and for some strange reason, I was reminded of a Futurama quote. Which quote, you ask? It was Leela's "If there's one thing I learned from my mutual break-up with Shawn (sp?) that was totally mutual, it's that happiness can only be found from within you." I'll leave it to you guys to figure out what the exact nature of the conversation was.  :hmpf:
